Why would ND jump any of those 3 teams (if they remain unbeaten)? They all will have played much tougher schedules at seasons end and a conference championship game.
Playoffs will end much of the disputes in a couple years.

ND alreadly jumped Oregon. If ND wins out I think they are in even with the cupcakes. If USC magically wins out until that last game against ND and ND wins they are 100% in. If this is the case they would have defeated 5 top 25 teams. Also ND bigger market team NCAA would prefer big game match up in title game. Afterall it's a business and all about the dollars.

Im happy for notre dame, glad they are relevant again, but i don't wanna see them be lambs to the slaughter for alabama. The only team i've seen that has a chance in hell in giving bama any type of competitive game is oregon.

Neither Michigan or Michigan St. is very good. If people can't see that Oregon is better than Notre Dame then they haven't seen Oregon play. I have seen every game that both teams have played and Oregon would put up points on Notre Dame. Notre Dame can't put points up on anybody! There's a reason for that because they are by far and away the number one money maker and there is no close second. Always has and always will be. Their ND and your team isn't. Unless you believe that the coaches that vote in the coaches poll and the media that vote in the AP poll do so based on who garners the most revenue and fan interest based on their national television contract. I could be naive, but I doubt it will help them directly this year. It should help them recruit and all the other stuff that helps you be a perennial contender, but that hasnt been the case in the last 15 or so years
