Who is going to stand in the way of Clemson winning the National Championship this coming season? By the way Etienne just announced today he is coming back for his senior year. I just do not see anyone stopping them.

I agree with Ohio State. I just do not see any others at this point, but lets see once the coaching changes are all settled, transfers have taken place, and the new recruits are actually in school ......

Just wait until D’Eriq King transfers to Oklahoma. Will Lincoln Riley have another heisman contender in his hands? First thing I thought about when I heard he entered the transfer portal.

I completely agree with you - I just think his mindset is win now. & if he has to develop either of them they aren’t in contention this year. I’ll be honest I like Rattler far better than Mordecai if it comes down to it. Also, I think it’s just a matter of time until he gets lured to the NFL. He says all the right things though about staying @ OU so who knows.

Think D’Eriq may be more talented than Hurts when it comes down to it. Not taking anything away from Hurts - he had a great year just think King might thrive in that system. Would you agree that King is a far better passer than Hurts?

He was the only 5 Star recruit QB in 2019 class. I’d like to see him get an opportunity at some point. If something is wrong with Rattler as Kennel suggests it would make perfect sense to go after King. Oklahoma ain’t far from Houston... dude played what 3-4 games this year? He’s fresh. Who ever gets him will be fortunate IMO.
Agree, BIG12 likely the Pac12 is going to be a crap shoot this year. I couldn’t even begin to wrap my head around who would come out.
Agree OU definitely lost clout this year & is due for regression.

I have to again agree with you 100 percent ImInTheMoney, as your postings make all the sense in the world.

Maybe I am skeptical...I don't see Texas in the mix in 2020...And I am a homer...Herman gutted his staff, by necessity...2020 will be Ehlinger's Senior Season, and I think he will be better than expected, but not at a nationally elite level. From my perspective, assuming Herman surives, 2022 will be the season where Texas will be in the mix again for the NC...

Total homer post.... but look for my Dawgs to contend again.
The hire of Todd Monken as OC is a huge get and hopefully will have some Joe Brady type impact. The problem is all the question marks on that side of the ball. Jamie Newman should be the starter unless Beck comes in as a true freshman and lights it up; I'm not sure D'Wan Mathis will ever be cleared to play. Zamir White will be on the ever more productive year two of his ACL recovery with McIntosh, Cook, and Milton backing him up. George Pickens should be Georgia's 2nd 1000 yard receiver in school history; everyone else at WR is a question mark but there are some highly touted freshmen coming in. The OL is where is gets really hairy... Trey Hill at C and Ben Cleveland at RG are the only returning pieces with significant starting experience. Several guys did shine in the Sugar Bowl so we'll see how it shakes out over Spring. It's a young group so I'm really excited to see what the offense looks like in 2020.
The defense should once again be a top 5 unit.
It's hard to wait 8 long months to find out...

Well we now know D'Eriq King is not going to Oklahoma so we will have to see how the Sooner QB position plays out. Miami now has an abundance of QB who are going to be battling for the starting job. Not sure what lead King to Miami, very interesting decision on his part.

I think King should have stayed at Houston...Miami is such a clusterf*** right now, I am not sure he will see the field, and even if he does, I am not sure he can make them competitive, at the level that their thug a$$ delusional fans are use to...

That's going to be an extremely difficult game; Bama is losing a lot of NFL caliber talent as well though. The only good thing about getting them in Week 3 is it won't affect the final position if UGA wins out. We do get Auburn and Tennessee at home, Florida at a neutral site as always. Schedule sets up nicely in 2020 barring a South Carolina-esque type blunder.
