Ferentz has done a excellent job this season especially losing last year's Stud DT's as well as the OC....

Where's the colors? While I see where you're coming from, I want to say a couple of things.

1) UNI is a good team. Norm Parker said that they had the best offensive line we faced ALL YEAR. This is their super bowl, a chance coming into Kinnick knocking off the team most of them probably wanted to go to. I am sure that if we played Northern Iowa in the middle of the year we would have beat them by 20+

2) Arkansas State was our worst game of the year. We should have POUNDED these guys. While the final score does show an Iowa victory by 3, it was never really that close/in question. This was the ultimate let down spot tho. Coming off a HUGE win against Penn State and facing a Michigan team who at the time was undefeated at this game.

3) Michigan. At the time we played them they were playing very good football. They were 4-0 and coming off an overtime loss to MSU. We got off to a bad start with a pick six on the first play of the game. Once again, if Michigan was our last game of the year, I think we would of beat them by a lot more.

4) Michigan State. No matter what you say, I will consider this game more impressive then unimpressive. Going into MSU in a night game at Spartan Stadium and coming out with a victory is always good in my book. This game was coming off two big wins in Michigan and Wisconsin. This game was a defensive battle all the way.

5) Indiana. This team always seems to give us fits. We played AWFUL for the first 3 quarter. It was about as bad as we could possibly play. And the fixed game is a bunch of bullshit I think. There is the one reallly bad call, the others were fine in my book. This was unimpressive, but what team doesn't have one.

6) Northwestern. For some reason Northwestern OWNS us. And I agree a great team would and should have beat NW. But honestly can you expect a Freshman QB who has taken 3 carreer snaps and gets thrown into a game and asked to carry an undefeated team to victory. Also he had a freshman RB in the backfield too.

A very Good Villanova Team won on OCT 3rd 28-17

William & Mary outgained the Wildcats 472-283, but Villanova (5-0, 2-0 Colonial Athletic Association) scored on the first offensive play of the game and never trailed.

Szczur scored on a 5-yard run to give Villanova a 14-0 lead and his 4-yard run increased the Wildcats’ lead to 28-9 with 2:38 left in the third quarter.

Villanova led 7-0 on Chris Whitney’s 55-yard touchdown pass to Brandyn Harvey just 19 seconds into the game.

R.J. Archer went 35-for-55 for 354 yards and a touchdown to lead William & Mary (4-1, 1-1), which had two turnovers and scored only one touchdown on five trips to the red zone.

Jonathan Grimes led William & Mary with 95 yards on 17 carries. Chase Hill had eight catches for 87 yards and D.J. McAulay had seven catches for 100 yards.

No I will not be. I never actually lay a wager on any Iowa games, just give out advise. I am afraid that if I lay a wager it may be because of a bias, although I do suggest against them sometimes anyway. Plus, if I EVER betted against Iowa, I could not root against my team in anyway, ever. I'd rather just sit back and enjoy the atmosphere at the games and not have to worry about over/unders and spreads.

This game, I will be advising people on Iowa though.
