Lookin over next weeks games already .. My lines don't come out at matchbook til either late Sun night or Monday morn , but I'm on Minny over Purdue . Lean AZ St , the ducks are overrated !! Can Kansas exchange with T Tech ? Texas playin their 3 rd big game in a row is a tough call ?

I didn't look at any stats or past lines before throwing those out there, just responding to your predictions, I'm going to relax all day, go to the Texans game (watch them cover) then come home and start firing Week 9 darts at my book

WahooS your one of a handful of posters I always make a point to look at after making my weekly selections. I post across the street (don't think I can mention any names without getting banned so not going to say where) and we're usually on a lot of the same games (had Zona as well). Thing is I play 20+ plays weekly haha. Anyways unto the matter in hand my friend.

Like KU a lot this week my friend. I'm not impressed with what I seen by Tech. I think KU can expose Tech's secondary blah, blah, blah. I actually think the line is gonna be at pick/KU -1 regardless I'm on KU. Wanted to know your thoughts on the game?

I like the Pokes getting anything over 10 myself but one thing I noticed in the last couple games is that their defense is more suited against week offensive lines. I think Texas has a better O-Line than Mizzou and Colt can expose that shaky secondary more so than Daniel aka Dr. Choke. On the flip side Muschamp (I have no idea how to spell his name) Pettigrew hasn't looked like himself as of late due mostly to his injury. This has put all the harness on Dez Bryant's back. He has 11 of the 13 completions Robinson tossed yesterday. Muschamp (that name again) is IMHO one of the main reasons (besides Colt) that Texas has performed well this season. Hes defense will make sure Bryant doesn't beat them and that could spell trouble. Don't get me wrong I'm leaning taking the points but I'm just not loving this play as much as I anticipated. Thoughts?

I think Oklahoma St. has alot better chance of hanging with Texas than Mizzou did, the Pokes are a nice football team and will not be intimidated against the Horns, not sure I want to get in the way of Texas right now though unless the line is just way off, thanks for the thoughts

wahoo - after some coffee kicking in, Kansas will probably open closer to 4 or 5 (sounds pretty good to TT backers I'm sure)
 
probably Minn and Oreg around 3 (although you could be right about Ducks going higher depending on Carpenter)
 
cannot disagree much with Tex 11, just feel it opens closer to 2 TDs

basing on line based power ratings and adjusting down (due to 7 being too high)
 
not a lot of common opponents to give comparison line so you could well be right that TT might be slight favorite
 
basically OU was 17-18 (opener) against KU and would probably be similar at least 15-18 over TT in Norman, therefore line rating about the same for KU and TT give or take a couple and then home field giving KU as slight favorite - it is a tricky game to set though so could be wrong in that thinking

Not sure what your thoughts are on the Minny/Purdue game, but I am almost certain I will be on Purdue....and it may be a big, big play for me....especially if Minny opens as a favorite....my first thought was Purdue -1, but now thinking this line should be -3..maybe a touch higher...minny just got lucky a illinois and has been outstated horribly other than squeaking by indiana on the stat sheet....purdue has had bad luck and a tough schedule...terrible spot against NW and should bounce back.....just my 2 cents

Any ideas on the Penn.St. / OSU game

Thinking Penn St. here.Both Defenses give up about the same yardage ,overall, home and away ,and in the last 3 games.
 
Using the average scores for ,overall,H/A ,and last 3 games it comes out Penn.St. 41 to 9,and OSU 27 to 10.
 
OSU did get woompt by USC,and USC lost to Oregon St,and Penn St woompt Oregon St

OSU got "woompt" by USC without their best RB and Boeckman turning the ball over every other play. I'll take OSU ML all day, GL
