LIke the card. Unsure why you like WMU. They are very inconsistent going against a very consistent Ball St team. WMU was feeling like they had a chance to make it to the MAC championship which ended with last week's horrible loss to EMU. I don't see much motivation for them. Ball St. finds way to win close games. They have a played a great schedule. And, they are motivated as hell thinking a win gets them a chance to make a bowl game. They have a shut down corner in Pinkston. I liked WMU earlier this year. I just have trouble seeing how they get up to win by 14 in this one. Would love to hear your thought process.
CMU is a gimmie. Other MAC plays include Kent St in 1st Q. They keep it close early but think they lose the game. Under in their TT. Think Buffalo beats Miami.

Thanks. I missed that the first time. Before writing, it sounds like you know the MAC pretty well. That is the conference I follow the closest. One of my normal rules is to try to stick to better games. I feel the slate this weekend is pretty weak so won't be playing much. With that said,
I agree with most of your analysis on the game. But, Ball St is not as bad as you may think against the pass. Really (throwing out the OK game) they haven't given up many 300yd passing games. Their secondary has been banged up. Arguable their best player (Baker) is the leader of their secondary and was out multiple weeks leading up to last week. They had other guys banged up including Pinkston which has cause some different assignments/responsibilities. Now that Baker is back and they are healthier, they have had multiple weeks to practice as a unit. I expect they will be better. WMU will score. But, it won't be like what happened at the beginning of the game last week. I think this will be close. In close games, I usually give the nod to the more motivated team as well as the team that knows how to win. I feel that is Ball St. this week.
For your sake, I hope I am wrong. Like I said, I'm not playing it unless it is in a teaser. Good luck Quote: Originally Posted by amd]
