I always like to see/view your take on games. But I have to say one thing. I have made some asinine comments on a number of threads in this forum. I attribute it to the heat of the moment and sometimes, sticking up for my team & conference. That being said, do what you need to do. You will be missed by people looking for assistance on Covers, however, you will still bet your picks. Good luck to you on whatever you decide to do, but if it is getting not desirable or boring for you, let it go. I, for one, will miss your perspective on college football. Once again, good luck whatever you choose to do.

I appreciate the story and the attempted lesson, but that's a very bad analogy (assuming you were going to say he should take a break and return, but don't let the bad guys win)...
It's an exact opposite comparison of what you were going for... by leaving, he is ensuring that the sad sacks of garbage on this site will miss out on good betting info... they are the ones being punished for their own stupidity, and that's how it should be...

Great post on the thread about "square" and "contrarian" bettors... particularly the part where you cleverly called out some of the more prominent members of Covers who try to win using that approach ... One particular person whose thread I know we both follow, mostly for entertainment value, comes to mind...

Incidentally, one of the sharpest things you can do at this point in the CFB season is start looking at games like this (assuming you already liked that side) and seeing how badly the books DON'T want you to bet it...
Books make most of their money during CFB season (imo) during the last half of October and November, simply by enticing people to grab large spreads, with decent teams, playing against elite teams!
Don't fall for it!

and that would be a big mistake on USC part. Without jihnny football no one would know who Sumlin is. In Sumlins two years at A&M he has had pitify defenses. He dosent know anything about defense and he proved that at Houston

I wasn't referring to anyone in particular with that post (could come up with a few if I had to) and by no means do I know everything, I just know that style of betting has zero long term success, its good for a few weeks in each season possibly but have fun with that over a 5 year period backing teams like New Mexico St every week
