not to mention the new defensive coord for the Vols was the defensive coord for Boise St, he knows exactly how to slow down the Duck attack, he did it a couple times at Boise, now he has SEC defensive players to do the same

Oregon is skilled and should win but this game could go either way in my opinion, I think the spread is off

Gl on week#2

Colorado is poorly coached and Cal plays well at home in out of conference games

Florida St may be as good as OU and I know they are better than Utah St who just gave OU all they could handle, lean FSU

Miami got blown out at Va Tech last year and Harris doesn't fair as well on the road, I did set that line at 7 though, 9.5 or 10 seems slightly high to me

no opinion at all on the BYU/Air Force game

Tulsa might still be in shock and they still don't have a defense, they are certainly better than BG but laying over two touchdowns with no defense is hard for me to stomach, no real opinion on this one

SMU is solid, I will probably be on them, UAB is miserable

no opinion on the WKU/Kentucky game

North Texas/Rice is an interesting game, think the Rice QB is doubtful and I'm not familiar with the backup enough to give you a solid opinion here yet, gut tells me N Texas should win

Okie St line is higher than I would expect now, they won't have the same success on the ground in week 2 that they had against Washington State High, Troy has much better athletes on defense, that line continues to climb and I'm starting to gain a slight interest in Troy
