I suspect when it comes back up ECU might be a small favorite! Especially if Sirk is named the starter.

I think it has to be.  And maybe somewhat due to ECU naming G. Minshew as the starter.

From OC Peterson:
“I still feel I have two starting quarterbacks, one is just who we feel we have to start the game with,” Petersen said. “The other one is going to play and going to play a decent amount. He needs to be ready to go, because you never know what could happen.”

Rotation Number is 266.  Probably close to PK or ECU slight fav maybe.  ..... guess we'll find out soon enough.

Thank you very much for your notes and ratings. They will come in handy and still learning  (not ashamed to say). GREAT START! You deserve it. I will file this info and then come back to it time to time. I rarely tail but that is because I want to come up with my own ideas which I feel is the best way to learn. I also compose my own ratings after 4-5 games usually.

strut around like a peacock all week......do no work for week 2....nevertheless make huge / blow-out predictions.......then spend all week bragging on your wins......arguing over the losses.....giving you little time for work on week 3........repeat over / over......until you're making /  receiving death threats......essentially

Your EC +6 looks pretty good....as does that UAB -9  ( A MADE UP LINE !!!!! / ha)......I wouldn't add to it now at pick-em or so
  * the BABPHT......says that the suspensions...while maybe (slightly) hurting on the field.....may give JMU .....a wake -up call / an 'edge'....they didn't have before

Same(type) reason why I (no longer) love CSU v Col......8' is a solid play .....but I was hoping for a humbled CSU off a loss / close game.....not fat/happy..........hungover wtf

Last2, I'm not going anywhere.  As long as my personal time permits, I will be around.   Wagering on CFB / posting on Covers is kind of my outlet / a way to stay connected to CFB.  Allows analytical / strategic thinking, forces you to evaluate human behavior too.  Just a lot of fun and a real challenge to win.  And I'm still learning.  We ALL should be.

Those offseason ratings are a good start, but do recognize the next steps.  Maintaining PR#s throughout the season.  Look for the right SPOT when making plays.  Use Situational / Matchup reviews.  I use the term Situational as a blanket term that covers just about anything; coaching, weather, schedule spots, pace of play, motivational edge, off big win, off big loss, non conf tendencies, with revenge, off rest, the list goes on & on.  Can't say the "T" word around here, but any applicable trends are within that Situational review.  Use your own judgment on what is applicable (the current game situation is similar to a previous situation -- what were the results).

Yeah, I've seen that narrative discussed on here before.  I was trying to poke fun at those peacock / dramatic types on here.... drive me nuts.  Just STFU and let your record speak for itself, whydon'tcha?  (was that the proper use of whydon'tcha?  )

IF I were to do that, I could just maybe challenge the biggest peacock of them ALL.  BUT, he would still have his feather boa ... and I would not.  Afraid I'd lose a peacocking contest.  And #2 peacock ... I better not even get started on that guy.  Maybe Dolemite took care of him and he's gone already.

Thanks TD, you are one of my 3 favourite  sources of info and Jedi-capping decision making. 

Totally agree with the peacocks statement, but I love that sort of thing. Not my thing to do online but, have to be one at work/team and are around many during the year. Results and creative risk taking 'talks in my book.' Gambling and talking sports is relaxation and fun so I find no need to be uber competitive  that way in our down times from the grind.

TD,    Looking for a fun, cheap Teaser for Thurs.   Got Rutgers -32.5, BC - 2.5,  and Colo. St. - 8 on Fri.   Looks like we agree on those. Mostly FBS/FCS  on Sat.  Not a huge betting week.   8-10 games probably.

Trying to get some good numbers on week 2 and week 3 while they're still available.  Got a few but mostly just positioning early and waiting for the real lines to come out.  

GOY's will disappear soon so just locking in a few I think might hold up.

My old brain is deluged with numbers. Starting over tomorrow to finish weeks #2 #3.

Not sure why, but somewhat nervous about the BC/NIU Total.....Just gut feel really.  Appears BC is going to try and play fast again (like their bowl game).  And NIU should continue to play fast.  Anyone else think this current Total (line moved 5-6 points in a day & a half) seems too good to be true?
