Vols

Is anyone else seeing Tennessee + 2.5 and know what the catch is ?

Fishy line ??

no catch, they are coming off an emotional high of a big win/upset at home & now go on the road

its a letdown spot for Vols

they can still win but that is about where line should be

Under is the play here, Tennessee's offense isnt a threat without the run game cooking, Vols defense is ELITE, Jim Knowles in the running for the Broyles award

Moreover,Cocks will b rested and understand Beamer has had good success agst Huepel(?). Furthermore, old farts like me will remember the adage when a lower ranked is favd over higher ranked... I lived in Knoxville yrs ago, and that is an immense, hated rivalry.  Remember when Bama got put on probation, and Bama faithful were of the opinion Phil Fulmer was responsible.  For preseason  SEC  coaches media day, held that year in Birmingham , fat Phil was seriously advised not to attend. And he didn't. Two very unique fan cultures,so to speak. Emotions run deep...and will be very difficult for TN players to respond w heightened emotional intensity again. With lots of distractions this week. All imo.
