NORTHERN ILLINOIS HUSKIES +3.5

this is an experienced team now who was inconsistant last year but did win at purdue  and played wisconsin tough early on.  they have a great running game which might be even better with the addition of last years #1 juco rusher. iowa state had a great year last year but it was a senior laden team overall.  on defense they lost 5 out of their top 7 tacklers, that should be a problem against the huskies running game.  northern illinois has a very good run d, i dont think iowa state's passing game is good enough to expose the huskies secondary.  

MIDDLE TENNESSEE STATE BLUE RAIDERS +3

minnesota is a bad team. weber is a senior qb but he got worse as a junior and lost his favorite target decker. their defence wasnt good last year and it only returns 2 starters. middle tennessee has the ability to run the ball and keep it simple on offence without dasher. minnesota lost decker and this team is really inexperienced at wide out now and that will be a problem against a very good blue raider secondary. 

HAWAII WARRIORS +21

usc has a great run defence, but that wont matter against hawaii, they wont be running the ball.  usc has to replace all 4 defensive backs from last year, while they will be replaced with talent as usual the inexperience could lead to some hawaii scores.   barkley wasnt that impressive last year, may take a few games under kiffin to get going.  the trojans were just 2-6 ats as dd chalk last year and lost outright at washington laying 21.

SOUTHERN MISS/SOUTH CAROLINA UNDER 47

this a very good south carolina defence and a very tough spot for southern miss opening on the road in a night game on espn. i dont think they will put up many points here.   garcia has had more off the field problems then success, i dont think this will be a blowout.
