this auburn team is just flat out a mess.  when you lose to arkansas its time to pack it in.  they have no clue whats going on when they are on offense.  they tried to put in the spread and then canned the coach after a few weeks when it didnt work.  they are a name at this point, thats about it.  this defense is not the shut down defense of old, arkansas ran for 188 yards on them last game and 416 total yards, devine and white should have good games.  todd and burns have some of the worst passing #'s you will find out there for quarterbacks.  at least white completes a high % and doesnt throw picks.  auburn has scored 16 points in its 2 road games this year.  auburn is 0-6 ats last 6 weeks .   w.v. 24  auburn 13
 
 

There is no way on God's green earth that West Viginia scores 24 points!!!  That's not happening.  They can't score that much against bad defenses much less one of the best and fastest defenses in the nation.  West Virginia'a offense versus Auburn's defense is a huge mismatch.  The Mountaineers will be fortunate to hit double digets in this game!!!  3 points are huge gift!!!

jimmy jimmy jimmy, my man, lets talk.  ARKANSAS SCORED 25 POINTS AGAINST THEM IN AUBURN!    do you know how bad arkansas is? they struggle to score that on sunbelt teams.  they beat a tenny team by 1 that lost to god awful ucla and barley got by n illinois at home.  they beat a miss. st. team 3-2  that average at best georgia tech rolled!  btw always respect your opinion and gl this week

I like Auburn in this one. Both teams have been disappointing, to say the least.. but it's the matchup of what WV does best vs. what Auburn does best.. running the ball.. vs. stopping the run. Auburn gets an edge for being able to place points on this WV defense. Toss aside Auburn being the road dog on this Thursday night in a supposedly tough enviornment.. I don't see WV's homefield advantage being that much of a factor.. and with Auburn dropping their last two, assures they'll be hungry for the win.
 
All of Auburn's losses will come from within the SEC..

Hey Jimmydafreak, I am with Badlands here bro, Auburn Defense is top notch yes, but their Offense is not going to move the ball much. Pat White did not play against Syracuse last outing. With Pat and Devine and the home crowds, I feel like W Virgina will win by at least a td.. BOL Folks

West Virginia have play well against the SEC in the past .
the Mountaineers are 20-17-2 all-time against the SEC and have beaten SEC teams each of the last three years.

much respect to all on here but I think Jimmy hit the nail on the head when he said they'd be lucky to hit double digits...and not just for wvu in my opinion...I think the under is the safest play here and the first one to 14 wins...I have no more than 23 points being scored by both teams...the only way I see an over here is a tie that sends it into overtime

Bad as the coaching has been at Auburn, WV has matched them.

I got Auburn early +4 (w/hook) and see the line down to WV -2.5. Maybe I need to hedge it and take advantage of this movement. Buy a half and have WV -2 and Auburn +4.
