I was reading through this thread thinking, "Damn, I wish he would've take the Noles also." When, along comes a post from badlands taking the 'Noles..... Glad to see we're on the same side - we've been burning these weekday games up, bro! Here's to keeping the streak alive!

im going to go against every thing i usually dont do and lay road chalk in a dog series . im going with what my eyes have seen. dont be foolded my n.c state's game against boston college, the only reason they were in that game was because of special teams, they had 300 yards in kickoff returns and only 260 yards of offense. there defense is horrendous, chris crain looked like matt ryan throwing for 428 yards and b.c had 578 yards in that game . florida state dominated miami until a rediculous 4th quarter comeback but they have looked better each week since the wake forest game. florida state should be able to run up and down the field here and hold nc state to under 300 yards offense. barring more special teams magic i think state rolls. florida state 34 n.c state 17
With you on this play Bad... This game is just about a fundamental matchup advantage for FSU...... Simply put, Noles D is ranked 2nd nationally and will totally stuff NCS rushing game.. Then the FSU secondary will score at least 1 and probably w TD's off of turnovers. On offense, look for the Noles 14th ranked rushing game to pad their stats big time... NCS might hang for Q1 just on the ether of the home crowd and national tv..... but then reality will set in.... FSU rolls here with their most complete game of the year, offensively and defensively.

If NC State allows
FSU to score what NCSt averages for opponents (31.33) and scores their average
(19.00) ... you get ... 12 points
On paper FSU looks
WAY too strong for NC State, who ranks in the bottom of almost every statistical
category ... but that's why they play the game. I like FSU to cover here
FSU NCSt Rush Off 231.60(14) 80.00 (117) Pass Off 192.80(84) 195.50 (82) Total Off 424.40(28) 275.50 (113) Scoring Off 39.60(11) 19.00 (98) Rush Def 64.00(5) 170.00 (89) Pass Def 166.00(17) 260.17 (104) Total Def 230.00(2) 430.17 (107) Scoring Def 15.80(21) 31.33 (102)

I like BYU simply becuase BYU has a complete Offense and will not try just to run the ball, but has a QB who can throw. Also who is sdst, compared with ucla, and what did BYU defense do there. I am going to take BYU plus 1, not a hater, but just like the way BYU plays

Good luck tonight, Bads. You're really tempting me to bet on the Noles. Please send me 5 bucks not to do it, as I am the ultimate homer jinx and would hate to ruin your thursday.

with you on this one...it will be interesting to see what happens here...not sure how good BYU is...certainly not as good as their ranking...also not sure how good TCU is...but i believe home field and adrenaline of playing a top ten team who talks about BCS like theyre going to walk through their schedule should be enough for TCU to pull this one out...easily best defense BYU has played thus far...hopefully TCU can do enough on offense to win it...GL!!!
