There is no one in this years crop that even looks remotely ready to play in the NFL. I don't see one 1st rounder in this crop. More like 3rd round talent.
I know some are going to end up going to the draft, but I just haven't seen anything special this year.

Mendoza is the only one ready and worthy IMO. Everyone else better just stay on college.
I want to see Mendoza play strong teams before saying he is worth it. He had a decent game against Oregon but it wasn't like spectacular. He was an average College QB against both Penn State and Iowa.

In his 2nd year, did anyone think last week Drake Maye would be rank No. 1 in passing yards (2,836) and pass completion percentage (71.9). He’s also No. 2 in passer rating (113.5), No. 4 in passing touchdowns (20), and fifth in completions (230)?
I think not -
Fact is with QBs now - we don't know. smart NFL people don't know, and until they play in the NFL we all won't know...
Could easily be a Drake Maye in this class...

Your right. Anything is possible. Purdy made a ton of boneheaded mistakes at Iowa St and yet it finally clicked in the NFL. I just don't think this crop is strong and warrants a top 50 pick

Agree - I'm glad I am not a GM this year with a need at QB; but a QB or two or three will hit to some level as an NFL QB. Best class ever? Obviously not. Worst class ever - give it 5 years and it may be, or not...
