I didn't stay up long enough to watch that crazy ending last night so I awoke this morning shocked to find out the Broncos had blown that big lead.  Anyways, I was watching the highlights just now and the field goal that was missed to end regulation looked like it snuck in the upright.  Was this heavily disputed when he missed it?  Again I'm just saying this from seeing it from one crappy angle but that looked like it was good.  Can anyone explain how this went down?

I think someone from the other side of the grassy knoll has a good camera angle of that kick, and we need to see it broken down frame by frame on youtube. It will send the blogosphere into pandemonium.

    Won't solve anything.

The game never happened. It's over. Done.

When's the next last second joy of victory and agony of defeat moment?

I only watched two FB games all season from start to finish, and they were Aub Ala, and Boise, Nevada. Both were hard games to accept, but they both had drama at the end--which is what I wanted--one big winner, one dejected loser. Great stuff.

I think the referees standing under the goalposts probably had a better angle than the ESPN camera

I thought it was good as well. This is just another reason why all schools should be required to have NFL sized goal posts at every stadium

I was surprised nobody mentioned this immediately after the game.  It looked good to me and I am surprised ESPN hasn't extended the goal post in a highlight to show for sure.  On the other hand it really shouldn't be an issue from inside 30 for a team trying to get to a BCS game

I was watching the highlights of them game. Sportscenter did some graphic thing where they raised the uprights up to where the ball went through. Both were no good through elevated goalposts.

I was watching the game last night.  He missed it.  Close, but he missed it.  Then he missed it again.  He choked all their hopes, dreams and hard work away.

    It was good.

They showed Nevada's coach during the kick and when the call was made, he turned and looked at his assistant with the "we got away with one" look.

    He knew it was good.

Not to mention there was a horrible pass interference not called when a Nevada player basically grabbed the Bronco receiver by the neck as he went to catch the ball.

Then on a punt, the Bronco defender hit the returner right after he made contact with the ball.  It should have been a fumble and Boise ball.

There were a few blown calls that went against Boise.  The NCAA got what they wanted.  It was just too bad Boise couldn't come through when they had their chances at the end.

    Or did they?

I'd like to see a replay of that FG myself.

The one in OT was on the inside tip of the post. I have it on DVR and have it frame by frame. I have it stopped right on the top. They should have reviewed it, but didn't say a word.

    Gotta love Vegas!

Actually they did show the Boise miss in overtime from that view. We dont have a camera setup from the student section that shows that view. I was at the game and he missed. Oh and ESPN isnt there to decide if field goals are good or no good. The refs under the goal posts are there for that. GO PACK!
