you are toooo much....I was thinking the same thing as you here and to be honest, seems like one of those games vegas may be licking their chops at like the Mich St +14.5 line.....they KNOW public will be hitting Mich and Vandy hard, prolly Vandy more than Mich St, but I like the play and wish you the BOL

There is no way I would take UT in this game. It is really not a matter of weather or not they have the heart or want to win one for the great pumpkin, it is about the fact that Tennessee has no offensive clue. While they do have a decent D, Vandy wins this game and wins big. I would love to bet Vandy, but I am a huge TENN fan and my wife will not let me bet on or against the vols anymore! I've lost to much money in the past.

Way to listen to your gut mcnabb, win or lose that is the best way to go...I think you know that.I just wish you would have pulled the trigger sooner. +3 is a terrible line and could easily push but I feel the vols get this one. GL

I think the Vols +3 is the play here. I just think they have enough pride left to beat Vandy. Please remember, Vandy has won 6 games but only one in the past 6 weeks. They really are not a good team. All they can do is run and Tenn can stop the run.

Trivia Question: Does anyone know when the last time Vandy was favored over Tenn? I don't know, but it may be 50 years or so???

Chicken -- Good Question. Great Question. I can't remember once in my life that Vandy has been favored over the Vols.

That is a good thing mcnabb...I searched hi and low in this forum and nobody but my man iron_mike gave my jackets a chance tonight...you see the score!!!! And I might add just in case you haven't noticed when an unranked team in basically any sport is favored vs a ranked team (esp. at home) and is the unpopular choice....Money,money,$$$....of course not every time...but through an entire season if you play this situation every time you will be up BIG!!!! Yellow Jackets/Eagles forever

Fulmer does not know any tricks!

Believe me. I'm a big Vol fan and have been to almost every game in the last 3 years and have seen maybe one trick. Fulmer is too old school...that's why he's gone now.

What exactly are the Vol's playing for? They've already been eliminated from bowl contention. Since Fulmer's lame coach status, they've gone in the tank. So they won't pick it up for their coach. Not sure what other motivation there is?

I'm taking Vandy -1.5 1st half for 2 units.

Ut alum here and this game will be hard fought battle, but the Vanderbilt Commodores will come out on top.... Tn has owned the series against vandy, but there are a lot of things you have to take into consideration here.... First, one word, Crompton, this kid is the worst I have seen since Joey Matthews played at UT. He will be starting, and the local radios have said that 3rd stringer BJ Coleman will be playing this weekend... Coleman has not played all season long except in a Jv game last week where he threw for 300 yards. Nick Stephens will not even get to play this weekend. who cares, that story was reported on govols.com.... Secondly, Vandy will not be aggressive with the ball, therefore Tn's defense will not cause any turnovers, and you don't have to worry about a special teams play from UT cause we haven't had a big play since I was born...... Next, normally this is a home game for Tn, but us Tn fans are not going to this game...... I have given my tickets away, and don't care to see Tn lose by at least 10 points.... Bobby Johnson may not always have the most talented teams, but his teams are always focused and ready to play... Im taking vandy for 500 to start my morning off right, u should do the same.

Repeat of last nights Miami/Georgia Tech Game. Pumped up team and crowd being bowl eligible. Tennessee is done for the year and has no reason to play after last weeks mess.

i live in tenn..been a vols fan forever....yes our defense is awesome..our problem is offense. our offense gives the other team 2 tds every game. Jonathan Crompton sucks worst than any qb ive ever seen....either stay away or go vandy. they will be pumped for this. i think its been 27 years...

Their face is already ruined after the HOME LOSS against WYOMING COWBOYS. Talk about a team that returned 15-22 position starters and were in the preseason top 25. No wonder why Crompton was never a starter in his three years at Tennessee. It's because he was never ready or b/c he could not pick up the offensive scheme. Whereas, the Commodores have greatly overachieved this season. Their defense is stout but their offense is lackluster unless you count last week's game against Kentucky where they put up some decent numbers. From how I look at it. Vanderbilt is playing for a bowl game (something they don't often go to every year) compared to Tennessee who's already been embarrassed and out of any bowl game implications but are playing for their coach or are they? But coach will not return next year and this is not like a home game it is away. Throw out all the ATS trends and scenarios of past years. This is a worn out Tennessee team with nothing to play for not even pride. I will put 2 units on this play. Pick Vanderbilt Commodores. Hope that helps you out.

I am having a hard time figuring out why there is any discussion going on about this game. Tennessee has mailed it in for the season. I watched the Wyoming game and it was the most uninspiring performance I have ever seen as UT amassed 219 yds of offense and Vandy is much, much better on defense. I would take Vandy if the game was at Tennessee.

Here is something else..as lofton said, we are starting a Freshman QB this week..having said that, Vandy has no fil on this kid, and nobody knows what he can do. As far as the crowd, there will be just as man Vols fans there, if not more, than Vandy. In a normal year, when UT is doing well, and Vandy is shitting the pot, there would be 3/4 UT fans, AT Vandy. Either way, I am not touching the side, but will probably play the under..UT O sucks...Vandy O sucks (but better than UT right now)..I woulod give the edge to Vandy..definitely not much scoring..IMO..GL..
