Temple has been featured in the USA Today, LA Times and a few other places because of this matchup. The publicity is nice.

I really hope I'm wrong on this pick but I make my Temple picks with my head not my heart.

Blake i agree with all your write-up

but reemmber bama ran for 180 on us, YSU 75, KSU 58. I would say temple will get around 75-90 as PSU run D is always stout on the lesser competition. 

I think Temple will slow the game down as much as possible. Under is a very good play

penn state is overrated......................owls gettn 14 looks solid to me....these two team actually match up well..............

Well it's time for Temple's first road game of the season and it's an intriguing one. A trip to Happy Valley to take on the overrated Nittany Lions. The Spread and total is out in this one and I'm working on where I want to go with this.

First glance, I'm very leery about this one. There's a lot of issues with the Owls this season. Their secondary is still piss poor, Chester Stewart is ridiculously inconsistent and the offensive line can't block anyone. Yet, this team keeps winning games they wouldn't have in the past.

The most important key for this game is to leave healthy. Two years ago, they lost Adam DiMichele for the season and that turned things around. Bernard Pierce's health is of the utmost importance because he is a gamechanger. It's very odd how they can block with 8 in the box keying the run but they can't block a blitz coming after the QB.

I'll let you guys begin the discussion with your thoughts and I'll be back later with my official pick. It may surprise you.

I love all the support for Temple. I'm just saying, my gut says they don't have enough to cover the spread.
