in all seriousness, once i saw TRoe confirm the information about Iowa suspensions i pounced... had to go to 3 books to find a place that hadn't pulled this game off the board, and was ecstatic when i did... after placing my bet, i told the ticket writer to tell his boss to pull this game off the board so they don't get hammered!
i don't know if this news has yet become official, but i was already liking Missou anyway... and if it is true, i will put 1 unit back on Iowa at the best possible line, for a possible 4 unit middle... if it is true, Missouri (-1) is money in the bank!
TRoe... if you are ever in Vegas, hit me up and we'll get a drink... i really respect your insight on Iowa games, and especially your ability to remain objective... that kind of info is what this site should be all about...
i know somebody else made the thread, but it was TRoe's post that solidified it...

b/c of the coaches leaving. IMO if none of those coaches had left this thing would have opened at 6, and probably closed at 4

probably not going to force a play on Ohio U, but i think that is a pretty decent play in the late game... the exception to the "Fade the MAC" rule is when they play a team from the Sun Belt...
since the status of Boo Jackson is in doubt, the play seems too risky...

looking deeper into a few of my plays... mostly re-thinking the So Carolina play... the disparity is not as great as i thought...
will still probably keep the Georgia play... on the fence with Utah... gut feeling says it will be closer than people think, and the numbers say a good line would be (-16)... but that's a little close for comfort...
incidentally, if one were to have gone by power ratings alone on the first 3 games, they would be 3-0...

games that will be added, but hoping for a line move in my favor:
Nevada (probably the play of the bowl season... several people like the other side, and they are going to get buried, i'm sorry to say... that game won't be close)
Oregon

Lol @ Apoc the amateur. I thought you said Boise State belonged to the NC and they were the best CFB team in the country? Now you claim they suck and bet Utah +17. And then you buy out of your bet looool. That's not a fucking hedge, a hedge is makes money. That's called a buyout, and you lose $ on juice. Gambling 101 for you "old pro ".
