DY, for once I'm against you on the UGA game. I think public is going to go LSU and drive the line up. Penalties were improved this week (5) and one of those (the Allen pass interference) was really suspect. Two missed FG's unlikely to happen again. Bigger concern was Stafford's passing not being all that sharp. Pass coverage is a problem (thank you Evans) but it really comes from no pressure from the D line. LSU offense didn't scare me to death vs either Fla or SC. I'll wait for the line to get to 4 and take the Dawgs.

That BAMA -6 line is just plain WRONG
BAMA is going to be a big play for me with that line.

Great thread as always dyounger.  Nice call on LSU last weekend.  Looked good in the first half for the gamecocks but LSU really stepped up their defense 2H and snatched victory away from the ole ball coach.
 
This bama/vols line at -6 is reminding me slightly of earlier in the year when Florida went into Tennessee as -6 favorites.  A lot of people were on the Vols thinking they could keep it close and Florida simply blew them away.  I think a similar result could be in store this weekend.  Nick Satan does not let his players take games off.  Although Bama's tendency to fall asleep in the 2H with big leads is worrysome so I just might have to do some in-game betting.

I jumped on Ole Miss early as well. I love WVU in this spot as well. South Florida line dropped to 4.5 and I grabbed it there. LOU is not very good and USF needs to keep winning in the Big East in hopes that PITT loses 2 Big East games.

ole miss looks like a great play along with wv...auburn could have 6 weeks off and still not score more than 2 offensive tds. not sold on bama yet especially with cody out. he is huge for their run defense and thats about all tenn has going for them. that along with bama's second half lapses have me more than a little worried about this rivalry game

Good job on another great week in the SEC.  Getting another Arky ML win last week would have realy made my week.
 
Arky not having Michael Smith would hurt their chances this week.  My lean would certainly be with Ole Miss being that the line is so light.  I really dont like laying points on the road with SEC teams so I probably wont play both Bama and Ole Miss but I definetely like both of them.
 
MTSU is almost a must play with that DD spread. 
 
I really like Auburn Thursday night.  I will be playing them SU. 
 
UF is a no play, and I have a slight lean towards UGA this week, especially if they are getting points.  If I can get UGA +140 I will take it, if not its a no play.

Great job this year. I love your sec writeups, and while I don't always agree, I do always come away with valuable info. Keep it up.
 
I hope your dawgs win saturday to build up the 11/1 matchup in Jax. However, I think LSU wins it and goes on to beat BAMA and win the west.
 
If the LSU/UGA game was earlier or later in the season I would say the best team (UGA) would win, but right now I would have to say the Tigers come out on top.
 
By the way whats up with that georgia kicker, that guy cost me some money last week.

I agree. As a Florida fan I want UGA to beat LSU this week and come into the cocktail party with only one loss.

nice card so far bro..... just have one question.....

Bama has been coming out in the 1st h and laying into people, but like you said, clamming up and playing not to lose in the 2nd h.....was wondering your thoughts on a Bama 1st h play (should be -3 or -3.5).....i dont think being on the road will be that big a factor as this is a veteran squad and they already played @ clemson,arky, and georgia..... i see a bama 20 tenn 7 1st h score .....

Meyer doesn't lose when he has a week to prepare and KY isn't close to the team Ole Miss is.

Maine- Wish i was there too, too busy with work to go down there. Ill buy the food if you buy the liqour and ill take a bottle of jack daniels single barrell.  Anyways have fun down there and drink a few for me.
 
Atlanta- from everything i have seen so far, UGA is a team that is going to have 3 losses this year. I guess they could magically turn the season around, but we will have to see.  The fact that they cant get to the QB and cant get turnovers is going to hurt them. 
 
jp1lsu- Arky should have won that ML for us I guess cant expect much less from a bad team though.
 
adam,delphio- i dont want UGA coming in with 1 loss.
 
straightshooter- could be a good ML spot for KY
 
train69- i dont know that i would play that.  The problem with a 1st half bet on the road is the home team crowd(and team) will be very fired up for the 1st half.  Not to say Bama wont come out and score 21 and shut em up.  I think Bama for the game is a better bet.

I'm in Pittsburgh at the moment.  I have hurt myself on a variety of drinks in NOLA (including the Skylab Fallout, that I believe was outlawed) but am unfamiliar with the hand grenade.   Oh wait, is that the thing they serve at the Tropical Isle?  Starting to sound familiar.  Slowly recalling the mid-'80s.  It's blurry.

Can't remember the name of the place that sells them, but you get a big green thing to drink out of and the bottom is shaped like a grenade and they throw a little plastic grenade on top...tropical isle sounds right...deceptively strong
