again, i am ANTI SEC in that i hate that they win so much, the love they get from the media, and the biasness of their fans,

however,

it is very very very hard to argue that in a new era where NO ONE friggin plays D, that they are not still not the BEST conference,

head to head, i would take the above 6 teams mentioned over the top 6 teams in ANY OTHER conf,

hands down.

the BIG 12? they play NO FUKKING DEFENSE

What other conferemce will have more teams in he top 15 than the SEC? They are favored in about every bowl game they play in and their ATS record year after year is very impressive.

Vandy beats a bad NC st team

NW beats Miss st (SEC 6th best team)

Clemson beats LSU (SECs 3rd best team)

Michigan chokes it away to South carolina (SEC 5th best)

agreed, best conf in my opinion is SEC, no question,

but the dominance of BAMA and LSU last yr in the way they were crushing teams, is not there this year,

down year in terms of TEAM DOMINANCE, not down in year in 'across the country' dominance,

past SEC teams at the top of the conf like Georgia do not give up 31 to nebraska,

or 28 to michigan gimmick offense,

that's why Tex A&M ripped through the conf and was only team to hand Bama a loss, at home no less,

DEFENSE in SEC not the same as it used to be even as recent as last year,

Arkansas was expected to do great things but they suck,

Miss St got boatraced by BIG 10 today,

Auburn perennial good team stunk this year,

fukking Vandy won 8 games in SEC this year, what does that tell you about the strength of the teams they played??

Wow--Big 10 is the worst conf this year. Time to load uo on Stanford and the under.

They both had a choke hold on the SEC rivals and lost their grip.

SEC wants it more. Bastareds don't cover, but they just win.

wow! gotta make it clear i have no money on any game other than NIU tonight... but how do SC backers get bailed out on that game?

Michigan out-played them so bad the whole game... has a non-TD counted against them (inexplicably) and still should have only lost by 2 at the worst... if the DE had made that sack, the game was over...

LSU #3? What about FL, Bama, GA?? Miss St very overrated and sure they are not #6 in the SEC. LSU loses to Clemson by 1 after some boneheaded calls by Miles and Boyd directing a great winning drive. You would have thought Clemson won the national championship with how they were celebrating. Facts are facts...SEC is the best.

I still believe the SEC in general from a defensive view is vulnerable in comparison to previous years.

However....they are still the best

They did have the SEC vs Big 12 in back to back National Championship games. SEC won both of those by double digits. Not sure the Big 12 wants that again.

Last four bowl games for SEC ATS 3-1. Lone loss...Miss St. They do cover too.

Last four bowl games for SEC ATS 3-1. Lone loss...Miss St. They do cover too.

South Carolina -5, -5.5, -6, not wins, it's a push and two losses,

it all depends on where people got the line,

the line opened -3.5 three weeks ago then shot up to -5 within 30 minutes,

most of the betting public who bet south carolina were not able to get down at -3.5, -4, or -4.5, so they ended up getting -5 or higher,

be careful how you grade that Sir
