1- I LOVE that Wyoming had it's lightening in a bottle win over Boise.
That looms large here. Lightening doesn't strike twice for a team like this.
2- And SDSU doesn't come in undefeated like Boise. That looms large as well psychologically (less mental baggage).
Okay. I read your entire write up. A couple of things stand out. I decided to focus on two.
1- Calling that a "lightning in a bottle" win is laughable. An upset? Absolutely. Boise St probably beats Wyoming by two touchdowns on a neutral field.
And if that was a "lightning in a bottle" win for Wyoming? What was it when they beat Air Force a couple of weeks earlier? Air Force was 4-0 going into the game and had just beat a legit Navy team by two touchdowns. You could argue the loss to Wyoming sent Air Force into a tail spin.
Also, you misspelled lightning. Twice. 
2- I'll argue that not being undefeated might actually hurt San Diego State's motivation for this game. What is San Diego State playing for exactly? They already clinched the Mountain West - West Division.
Now compare that to Wyoming. Who is playing for the East Division title. They already own the tie breaker over Boise State. So a win over San Diego State and set up themselves for a glorified play in game in New Mexico next week.
