Then the game happened and you were dead wrong.   I was right.  A group of Cowboys sunk your battleship, and instead of OWNING IT LIKE A MAN and saying you missed, you complain about trolls.  Not a word about the play.

First off I include NONE of my exotics in my record be it politics, pro wrestling, or hot dog eating contests and I've hit far more than I've lost. Do you know why? How the hell would I put a -150 winner or a +225 winner or a -330 losing bet in my record??? I don't use units! When I capped Joey Chestnut eating over 63 dogs he closed at -160. Is that 1 win? No! It's a big negative ML. I have the pick, people made a shi*load and I moved on. Conversely if it missed, how would it be entered as a loss?


Do you know why I don't use units? Because they can be manipulated. 50 units on a game that losses. Then 100 units on the chase bet. Lose that one? 200 units on the bet. Martingale until victory when the real bettor has lost everything long ago.

Because I am forthright. Because I don't get hot and jump ship.

My opinion is not infallible. But to strut around this thread like a peacock with his tail feathers out because you didn't want to take a side on a pick? How embarrassing. This is an epic display BWS. Who in the world have you helped with all this? No one.

If I recall after last year's ND/Temple game you said you'd never lay DD or close to it on a road fave...   Now you've done it with Boise and SDSU and lost.   Why not take your own advice.   And take some of Wahoo's advice too.    MOVE ON!

More false proclamations. I NEVER said I was an EXPERT at anything.

In fact, I avoid using such a word at all costs because I don't want to be aligned with the so-called 'covers experts' who charge a tidy sum for their picks.

And I do look in the mirror when it comes to the AAC. I've made a hell of a lot of people a hell of a lot of money on two consecutive POY's that not only hit comfortably, but won by a combined margin of 100-28 on two spreads of -3 a piece.

I don't care about the final score, only the win, but when I get called out on it, I think I do look in the mirror and know what the hell I am doing when it comes to that conference. Don't you? Probably not. Burned you for $100 too which was far sweeter than anything in my account. Anyhow, yes move on. You are the one who came back to the thread and I am here to respond. So let's not act like their is a halo above your head.

I have been capping Saturday's games since Sunday. I have several on the docket I have to narrow down. Lots of good plays. It's a shame to see the best betting league go away so soon.

Week 8/9/10 are the perfect times to strike for POY's because they teams are fully characterized and their bowl hopes are clearly evident: two crucial forces to help you structure a bet. I'll be back.

We will win this one. I don't post a POY's for shi*s and giggles (and we just won one in the NBA forum with the Thunder -5 over Philly, however fortunate).

Saying you have an area of expertise is NOT the same as touting you are an EXPERT you fool.  There is nuance in communication.

Calling yourself a "Covers Expert" has a different connotation than, in a sentence, saying you 'have an expertise' at something. One is far more impactful. You don't think the alleged "Experts" on this site didn't know this when they advertised themselves as such?
