Tappy we can always agree to disagree- you seem to be the one Alabama fan on here that can discuss the posibility of Bama losing without actually getting all pissed off and going nuts. I think it'll be a hell of a game and can't wait to watch it if LSU wins out. If LSU loses then all hell will break lose!

If LSU beats Arkansas then there is no way in hell that Miles would rest his players in the SEC title game. That would be look at as a big f__k you to the BCS system and it would be possible that somebody else would play in the NC game. Losing that late in the season is the kiss of death. No way does he rests any players. They have plenty of time to rest up before the NC game.

The really, really cool thing about LSU is the parts are interchangeable.

I haven't heard anyone bring this up yet but Georgia Southern ran for over 300 yards against Alabama's "great" defense. They did this by running the option. Something Jefferson is really good at. Does anybody really think it is a coincidence that he is getting most of the snaps now? They will have 5-6 weeks to perfect the option with the stable of stud running backs they have. This game will be totally different this time.

Hi Tappy... I totally get the team loyalty..but I posted a reason why Alabama should not be in the National championship game, and it is hard to argue the point..... (it is on the post, but I'll put it here as well)... how can a team win the National championship one game, and only one game before it (this up coming week) potentially (possibly) be 3rd in their own division?   that is just one heluva bounce from one game to the next.   so...scenario 1) Alabama wins this weekend,.... LSU wins... and they meet in the National championship game and Bama wins....National champions right...... scenario 2) Bama loses, LSU loses and and Bama is #3 in their own division....that is just not right....Bama had their shot at LSU, played too tenatively, and now the opportunity should go to another team 1 loss team ....just my thought..... You got that right. Go back and look at the national championship Bama team from 1941 and please explain how they are considered a champion of anything...Oh wait I remember, until a few years ago teams could claim championships if the clarke county Gazette in hillbrooke Alabama picked them. Bama has about 7 legitimate championships 9nothing to sneeze at), but so many teams have gone undefeated and had the integrity not to do such things. It is college football though...

Give credit where it is due, and that is to our defense... We struggled against that because we weren't prepared for Jefferson and that attack. We couldn't adjust to it, so we struggled. We will have the same amount of time to prepare for it, as they do to perfect it. I agree, this game will be totally different, and it won't be LSU having that kind of success running the ball.

Well they both won, and the two best teams in the nation, are about to play each other.
