No good contribution here last week (7-8-1, .467). Bringing the full season to a non-illustrious .533 (56-49-2). Examining each, the box likes these for week #8: 1) OhioUniv(-9.5)/EasternMichigan 2) Clemson(-2.5)/VirginiaTech 3) NorthCarolina(-8.5)/Syracuse 4) TexasSt(-13.5)/UtahState 5) Tulane(+3)/UTSA 6) FloridaAtlantic(-7.5)/Rice 7) Toledo(-2.5)/WesternMichigan 8) Buffalo(-3)/BowlingGreen 9) Alabama(-13.5)/TexasA&M 10) Nevada(-6)/SanJoseSt 11) OklahomaSt(-13.5)/Colorado 12) Arizona(-10.5)/IowaState 13) Kentucky(-10.5)/Vanderbilt 14) NewMexico(-4.5)/NorthDakotaSt 15) Memphis(-10.5)/EastCarolina L 16) Indiana(-8)/Michigan 17) NorthCarSt(-7.5)/Stanford L
So, is there a way to spin that poor overall 2026 performance record? Indeed, let’s go with the rank-value attribute. Over the last five weeks, the algorithm’s top-nine selections have gone .711 (32-13). Very likely not sustainable, but -- for the moment, a gold stake in the ground.
We are exactly half way thru our season; time for a category performance assessment (380 non-neutral site games). Home Favs 136-120 (.531). Home Dogs 68-56 (.548). ATS breakeven is .524, so slight money was made on the homers thus far. Alas, the macro-large database forever runs to the proverbial .500 level, so any $ edge is temporary/fleeting. Which is to say what we all know -- the prediction game is a tough one.
56 games on the board; three less than last week. Nonetheless, volume is opportunity, and there is an abundance of that this week. Good luck, TheKingfish
