Pimpdaddy, I've been riding FIU just about all year, and to say the have been "not great" could not be a more inaccurate assessment.  FIU has been by far the biggest surprise in the Sun Belt this year.  I have now laid money on them in their last 4 games, and cashed the ticket each time.  In fact, during one 3-game stretch they covered the spread by a combined 86 points!!!  That's more than 4 TDs per game!!!  They are also one of the top ATS in the nation with a record of 6 & 1.

I had FIU +12.5 against Troy in their last game and watched the whole thing.  And were it not for some incredible bad luck in the 2nd half, they would have beat Troy straight up and would be strong contenders for the Sun Belt Conference title.  They most definitely outplayed Troy in the second half.  Their defense just smoothered them.

Now having said that, ULL has been another one of my ATS darlings this year.  Like FIU, they are also 6 & 1 ATS.  I have wagered on them 3 times this year and won all three.

FIU is coming off of a bye week.  That gave FIU's very under-rated defense extra time to prepare for a team that is very difficult to prepare for. ULL gets a big boost this week because they get their starting QB Matt Desormeaux back from injury.  This will also be ULL's homecoming.

The bottom line is that I think this will be a great Sunbelt clash between two ATS darlings.  This game is a no-play for me because I think Vegas has this number about right.  The current line of 7.5 would definitely cause me to lean toward the points because I think it'll be a very close game.  But make no mistake about it, FIU can absolutely win this game outright.  Their defense is good enough to pull it off.

GL to you Freak:  I feel ULL has played the better strength of schedule YTD and you are right I have won some money on FLI this year as well.  I am glad I grabbed it at -6 because I think -7.5 I would only play 1 or 2 units for sure.  Hope you kill the books this week as well.  I know you will

Yeah, I'm happy to hear you got it at 6.  I think very highly of ULL.  Their offense is difficult to stop and they have a great at the Sun Belt title, so along with this being homecoming, they should have all the motivation in the world.  I just can't touch this game so I'll be rooting for you.

This game is like two hot chicks that I've been dating squaring off in the octagon.  I have no idea which side to take.  Because I'm laying off, I'll root for you!!!  Geaux Ragin' Cajuns!!!

Jimmy-  I think this would be a great game to watch wish it was on TV in my area.  Both teams off a bye week and homecoming for a team like ULL I see them taking this.

That ULL/FI line is all the way up to 12.. pimp, would it be smarter to play FI at +12 or do you think its gonna be a blowout ULL style?

I would hedge for sure guys I think ULL wins but I did not expect this to be honest.  I would lay off this game to be honest now unless you got ULL early like me

Looks like a nice day so far some games killed me that Minny game pissed me the hell off how can you not tackle the backup qb and you know the guy can't throw.  But overall going to be over for the day.
