I've been gambling for 30 years and I never follow anyone blindly. Gambling is about winning and losing. It's about money. That's it. This guy wins. I'll be the first to admit that I was skeptical at first but when it comes to money I'm not stubborn. This guys has won me money consistently and I'm thankful. Scal obviously has a talent for picking winners. When he has a strong play I listen. I use a lot of different handicapping tools but I was struggling with this game. When I came on here and saw Scal loved Penn State, I hit them for $700. Isn't that what Covers is all about? People can say what they want but Scal wins. That's all that matter. I appreciate all the work brother. Looking forward to bowl season. Keep up the great work.

Scalabrine may be a thin skinned, insecure baby. But, he's a very good capper.
But, then again, we have a thin skinned, insecure President Elect right now. So maybe that's the way to go these days!

Thats exactly what I was thinking. I was praying for a TD at the end of second half knowing that a 2td score was totally doable for penn.
The game unfolded like a fairy tale. And that stop on 4th and 1 was absolutely legendary

Had a great time reading the responses and I love hearing from the lurkers/first time posters in addition to the long-standing loyals. Shocked to see me and Jdr both agree Trump is thin-skinned! But when you are still sending out SNL tweets as The Potus....:my god.
Dont let your angles, be them macro-perspectives (teams as a whole, seasons, history, motivation) or micro-perspectives (individual players, certain games, stats in particular), be remanded to some set of 'rules.'
There are no rules for capping angels and angles are infinite in possibility, much like the position of every billiard ball on a table after the break.
Angles are like an artist's canvas. There are no confines which limit the aritistic possibility before the painter or sculptor. Imagine if there were. Imagine how many of the world's great artists or even the most benign child's crayon drawing would look if there were rules which sought to inhibit creativity. Capping is the same as art. We can be as creative as we want, even using an angle of one referencing an all-time great movie.
And the hilarious thing is, that your angles may have NOTHING to do with the outcome, even if you win, BUT if you win more often than not, then there is SOMETHING to the angles you present. And that is all that matters: the approach and the win.
I have too many errands to run today to post in the NFL but I will give out this piece of info:
I listen to several podcasts a week and on the Behind the Bets podcast with Chad Milliman, Bob Scucci, well-known sports book director, said the past three weeks of NFL betting have made them the worst profit in years. They'll always profit but he said these past three weeks have been particularly awful and I think we'd all agree this reverberates throughout the entire industry when the public wins. Therefore, all books are not making their numbers.
In light of this, I have to think they will be able to collect at some point and collect AGGRESSIVELY so I'd watch out for big public favorites this week as you always do but in particular this week (yes you can use this as a short-cut when you didn't cap anything which I haven't) and very high lines, which will be shaded a point or several points higher to collect. This is your only WARNING!
