all is slow right now, BOB is on a tour to greet and meet locals in the recruiting hot beds.
RB David Williams and OT Dorian Johnson are closest on radar and we really need to add these two.
Anzalone was a big miss as we have yet to hit a big time LB but are going hard after a Florida kid who seems interested.
I think we are just about done with D line, maybe one or two more but the focus seems to be on secondary, o line and linebackers as it needs to be.
WR Robert Foster, the all world PA WR seems to be a Pitt lean, hearing the kid is a little different and even Urban Meyer stopped recruiting him because he could care less about academics.
Will keep you updated. We are currently at 8 verbals, with mostly 4 starts, 3 star CB Ross Douglas surely will be a 4 by next year as he continues to impress at all combines. An OT from Hershey just committed but has yet to be rated and DE Cothran looks like a freak, yet to be rated. Assume both settle at 3 stars with Cothran a lot of untapped potential.
By the way, Breneman is like the ambassador for this class, kid is constantly promoting, defending, and supporting all things PSU and is really after Williams and Johnson.
To me this class with ESPN rates #1 pro style qb and tight end, not to mention DT Webb DE Sickels and Mahon (one of the nastiest high school OL i have ever seen) already surpassed my expectations but we need to keep it going. A lot of these kids will have PT as freshman they would have never had under Joe.

Apparently, they were larger than the University! Joe Pa was the face of Penn St. It's great you still support the University, but I got news for ya...tough times are ahead for the institution! here is the thing, you cant make up rules as you go, even as bad as this is there is no ncaa rule about it unless there were improper benefits found to players.
i am in no way saying there should not be further consequences, but many ncaa experts have said this and that likely nothing will happen besides a rule change for future instances like this god bless us there are more.
there was no rule about cam newton benefits and his dad shopping him as noted on espn by experts so they could not do anything but change the rule.
the ncaa hands are almost tied despite how bad this is.
