Ducks aren't wearing green in their uniforms which is almost shocking after that all green Rose Bowl beatdown
Uniforms is because Nike made them ahead of time. The scenario that never happened was Oregon home vs FSU and Oregon away vs Alabama. Saw a video on ESPN how Nike spent all of this money ahead of time gambling on what four teams would make the playoffs. Nike was happy that all four teams in the playoffs were Nike teams.

No way I can back them without their top offensive weapons

I'm a duck fan but I'm a realist, it's gonna be a tall task to defeat the likes of Ohio St without the two best speed & big play WR's & the top corner in the country, Carrington is their big play guy, he tore up fsu & is greatly needed vs Ohio St

SHOULD BE A GREAT GAME! WHOEVER WINS THE TURNOVER BATTLE WILL LIKELY WIN AND COVER THE SPREAD.................WHICH IS THE CASE IN MOST FOOTBALL GAMES. BUT I BELIEVE THE COACHING EDGE BELONGS TO OSU......GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!
I agree.. Turnover margin is huge in this game... If OSU can get to +2 or more, they will have their chance to win the game.. If Oregon gets to +2, they will win, period..
I am a huge Ohio State fan, but with Oregon's pace and explosiveness, if Jones, in his 3rd start, on this big of stage, finds himself/team down by 14 going into the forth quarter, its going to be tough to catch up to Oregon..
Ohio States defense needs to come up with a few stops, in key drives; opening drive, right before halftime, obviously down the stretch.. If Ohio State doesn't panic if/when they find themselves down by 14 early (like they did against Alabama), and they just stick to the game plan and trust the system, they will be in the game down the stretch.
This game may be like an Arena Football game, or tennis match if you will, it may not come down to who scores to gain momentum, but which defense can make a stop and break serve. Holding a team like Oregon to a field goal instead of a TD, is huge!! They will get 500+ yards and most likely 35+ points, but 2 or 3 field goals instead of TDs, takes a score of 49, down to 37.. That will make all the difference in this game for Ohio State..

If Oregon's players were tested for illegal substances one week prior to the Rose Bowl (per the AP), how was Carrington eligible to play that game against FSU? Those test results come back within 72 hours maximum.

It takes a lot of concentration, focus and execution to run a prolific offense like Oregon's and to score practically 50 points a game (they could have scored that much in EVERY game since Arizona).
Think about it for a moment: How can you execute an offense w/o complete commitment and to be in the right spot at the right time, and also know what your opponent is going to do?
The ONLY thing Ohio St can do is try beat Oregon with an option type QB (The freshmen QB for Arizona is a runner passer, and Zona's defense is blitz option). Buckeye's QB is not at all mobile--he's a TREE.
I think Oregon's toughest test was Florida St in the Rose Bowl, and this was there NC as they defeated the true #1 team (Alabama should NEVER have been #1, that is SEC bias at work).
The conditions are perfect for Oregon to dictate tempo, scoreboard, and put Ohio State into situations they will be uncomfortable. But I also think it is not good to underestimate the Buckeyes, or an idiot QB (I think he's kind of a dumb and dumber lug). They relish playing the spoilers, and to muck up a PAC 12 team's hopes. Playing spoiler is motivating, and I've seen the Ohio St do it before.
Urban Meyer gives them confidence and reality checks, and they are tough and in condition--mentally and physically.
Alabama's offense and their QB simply do not compare to Oregon's spread offense. Oregon does not have to run between the tackles to gain yardage.
The game is decided by ATTITUDE.
Both teams have champion attitudes, and loads of confidence. To hold up the trophy is gonna take execution, precision for the entire game.

I see lot of indecision.....Changing picks and minds....When that happens take the points....Oregon will be trying to win first championship....Urban Meyer will not step on the field but will be the difference......I expect Ohio State to play smash mouth and keep the Ducks offense on the sidelines more than they are used to. Both teams play a lot of overs....Both offenses talked about......Defense wins championships still and Ohio State has the better defense.......Small bet...just my 02 cents
