everyone takes the fg in that circumstance. In blowout games coaches tend to just "play it out" like is expected in normal game flow. For the same reason you don't see teams going for it on 4th and 10 at their own 20 yard line down 35 with 2 minutes left. You just punt....because at that point when the game isn't within reach that late it just goes back to normal game flow decisions. If it's in reach(and say your down 5) then you go.....
