Oklahoma at Auburn - Big 12 and SEC fans pls chime in

Auburn is starting Payton Thorne on Saturday and this guy is flat out terrible. Saw him when Auburn played Cal and Thorne was highly inaccurate.

In comes #21 ranked Oklahoma and they are getting +1. 

Any reason not to hammer Oklahoma here? Anyone who knows these teams pls chime in.

Ive watched Auburn play a little bit and was not impressed whatsoever and I dont get the line. I think Oklahoma wins comfortably.

Definitely have this one circled.

It will come down to Hawkins Jr starting at QB for OU.  I think he will be able to manage the game well enough to get the W.

Game means more for OU at this point after all the talk after last week imo.

So the flipside argument is that OU is down their top 5 WRs (heard that today) and they've been down 3 starting OLs on a unit that has been struggling anyway. You've also got a true freshman going to Auburn for his first career road start. So, there are alot of factors contributing to having concern about OU's offense.

The Sooner's D seems to be largely intact though and you'd have to think they will lean on that unit. Likely that the offensive gameplan will be limited and conservative to not give up easy points on short fields because of turnovers from trying to do too much.

At some point you gotta think Auburn's locker room is going to circle the wagons and come out with some fire. At home on ABC against a new SEC league member that's done alot of talking in the off season and coming in wounded seems like an opportune time.
