Hartline was as fast as ginn in the 110 hurdles, Ray Small is blazing fast as he ran on Glenville's state champ 4x4 team. They have 4 guys in scoutsinc. and Todd Mcshay draft eligible top 32 right now. Most of any team. Don't tell me this team don't have talent.

Yes the schedule has helped but when you have a first round tackle, lb, cb and DE you have talent. So what they lost a soft ginn and a 5th round QB who went to the bowl game out of shape?

Last time I checked, the state of Florida doesn't recruit much in Ohio - No need to when the state of florida has some of the best athletes in the nation to recruit from. Top 3 states for high school recruits not in order: Florida, Texas and California. Where is Ohio???

oh, you really are a homer for trying to defend OSUs ass pounding last year by saying they didn't "prepare" and were "out of shape". I don't recall any of the players or coaches saying those were the reasons they lost...wow you really do drink the cool aid.

buckubad, OK, you wanna go way back, since 1950 OSU has won or shared 6 Nat titles and Michigan 1. so what do you have to say about that? And the OSU has beaten Mich 5 out of the last 6 years, chump.

A) This thread sucks

B) This OSU team is very, very good.

C) Their schedule is very, very bad.

D) LSU lost to Kentucky (think about it) and struggled with Tulane

E) The Big 10 is down but still 3rd best (SEC, Pac 10)

F) SEC homers need to chill out, everyone knows your tops.

OSU is my squad, this team is better than last years and 2002, they havent played dick, going undefeated in any BCS Conference gets you a shot at the title, Florida was a better team last year, etc.

Maybe the NCAA should just let them settle it on the field with an 8 team playoff

It's one thing to stick up for your team or try to convince someone how OSU is the team to beat this year...but don't just go back to 1950 just because your school has the advantage...state the TRUE fact...both teams have 7 National Championships.

Michigan has won or shared 41 Big Ten Championships

Ohio State has won or shared 31 Big Ten Championships

Yes, OSU has dominated the series as of late...but we all know what happened before that. It's a great rivalary which OSU has the upper hand, but when debating this series, post the ENTIRE facts, not just the ones that make your team look good

Very nice post!

tOSU is good and deserves some credit but not much yet. The SEC homers need to chill out and worry about their teams. Lets not forget that Ted Ginn didn't play that whole game. I don't believe they would have won but losing a top 3 player can't help any team.

Michigan claims 7 Nat titles but some of those are from so far back and they are disputed, and noone is even around from those years to explain what happened, and I would say before 1950 there were several years with Wars and other shit going on, and different teams in the conference, so if you look at the 50's and 60's it is a good place to start looking. Shit that happened in 1915, that is almost 100 years ago.

Yeah Michigan won 2 NC in the 1900's, 2 in the 1930's, and 2 in the 1940's, and I have seen that they claim 11 titles but that is probably wishful thinking, anyways many of these NC are shared or disputed, there were only a few bowl games back then, for many years there was only the Rose Bowl, and none of this shit will matter when the Wolves get their asses kicked by the OSU on Nov 17

If they are the best team, would not they play the best schedule?

Sorry, any team that schedules Youngstown, Akron, Golden Flashes...............GMAFB..................

I won't mention Florida, since it doesn't count whenever the Big Ten plays in a bowl last year (2-4, not that it matters, since that is so last year)

BUT, if you are the BEST team, you better beat Michigan by more than 3

As for schedule, the OSU would like to play some home games and make some money, and who's gonna want to come to Columbus other than mid level teams that need the money, it is the way it is.

LSU, Oregon, Oklahoma, doesn't matter. Ohio St. goes down again. Plain and simple, they won't beat any of the above teams.
