    OHIO STATE in the SEC...

12-2 at best, pending on their schedule.  Unfortunately, these teams can't avoid competition, but I heard St. Xavier High School is looking for a game next year, maybe OSU could pencil them in as they tour the state looking for confidence boosters.

What a victory every game is for them.  Penn State vs. Ohio State was nothing more then South Carolina / LSU.  Georgia / Florida was a harder game for both teams.

Nice defeat over Akron by the way.  Way to cover by 1 at half.  Oh, and was that safety 1st quarter?

tresselgal, you hit the nail right on the head, all you hear from these whiners is SEC, blah, blah blah, I wanna hear from the next SEC expert what is the best team in the SEC. Is it LSU, let's see, they have been having a lot of problems this year, they should have lost to both Florida and Auburn, at home. They lost to a Kentucky team, that just lost to Miss st at home. WTF? Is it Georgia? They had problems with Vandy. Is it Florida with 3 losses? Scar, Bama, Tenn, Auburn, come on all of you SEC experts, who is the Boss?

IF OSU gets out of the Big 10 unbeaten and plays for the National Championship they will be blown out again by LSU or Oregon. The Big 10 is about 10 years behind in coaching. I live in Michigan and I can't remember the last time I've seen a big ten team fake a field goal(LSU, Rutgers), fake a punt(Rutgers), throw a pass when u have no timeouts and u can win with a field goal(LSU) throw a half back option pass(ARKANSAS) or run 2 statue of liberty plays to perfection in 1 Game(OREGON). The Big 10 is over rated and still living off BO and WOODY!!!  IN 2 years Illinois will be the best team in the BIG 10 because Zook will have all his athletes in place!!!  HIS Florida team won the Championship last year!!!

The OSU has the best O-line that I have seen since that 95 Nebraska team. They don't have the power rushing game like NEB did, but as far as pass blocking they are the best I have seen. PSU was supposed to have a decent D, with a good pass rush, and guys were saying that PSU would put pressure on the QB, but Boeckman had all day to throw, the OSU could have brought their scout team QB in and he'd have a great game too.

im in big ten country, and went to a few illinois games this year, and can safely say the big ten blows major donkey dick, all u have to do is look at the teams from out of conference big ten schools have lost to,its brutal, and if illinois wouldnt have kept shooting itself in the foot they would have beat michigan too, illinois flat out gave that game away

Noone in the SEC looks like they can compete with OSU. South Car? WTF? Kentucky? Come on. The only game vs an SEC opp that would be close to a pick'em would be OSU at LSU.

Are you serious? Nothing better than watching last years OSU version of "the best team ever" get horse whipped by Florida.

The best team ever idea is a joke BUT the jealousy of tOSU is too funny. For some reason people love to hate on the Buckeyes every year. All they do is win games and actually schedule very solid opponents non conference (except this year). tOSU would do extremely well in the SEC and probably end up with 1-2 losses. That would still put them a top the SEC the conference that everyone here thinks is soooooooo great. At least try and unbiased opinion one time.

I still don't even think this team goes undefeated but who knows. I don't like this week with Wisky and going into Michigan is never an easy thing. I really hope to play LSU to see what this team is really made of.  The bucks would stop the offense for the most part but I don't see them moving the ball very well. It would be the ultimate Tressel ball game with the winner being decided by less than 4 IMHO.

The speed comments are silly. OSU has speed everywhere on this team and they continue to recruit very fast players at all positions. I predict tOSU has a top 5 recruiting class when it is all said and done.

Redneck - "the best team ever idea is a joke"  That was the best thing I have read in this entire thread.  It is impossible to have a "best ever" because statistics and records are misleading, heck we can't even get agreement on who the best team is iin any individual season.  OSU has played a weak schedule.  Not their fault? True, but none the less reality is what it is.

Every homer on here thinks their team at one time or other is the best ever, and this unsolvable argument is brought up every year at least once.

Bottom line is YOU believe they are, then enjoy the moment, argue if you want to but realize that the rest of us don't.

If you think Ohio St is the best team ever, I am impressed with your ability to write at such a young age. You apparently just arrived on this planet earlier this year.

I'm not saying the OSU is the best ever now. But if they continue to run the table, and dominate everyone and win the BCS title, you will have to say they are onen of the best teams ever, because then they will have played several strong teams, and they are a great all around team, rushing the ball, passing, great defense, and great special teams, and there haven't been many teams that can put together that package.

Lsu fans, you don't need to worry about the OSU, you need to worry about Bama this week. The Bama game looks a lot like the Kentucky game a few weeks ago.
