it doesn't matter if the whole country is on USC. ASU can't score. There is a huge talent mismatch. The gap is so wide that it doesn't matter that USC has nothing to play for and that their coach is an idiot. USC still rolls these guys. All you need to see is that Barkley is determined to win this game, Threet looks lost, and ASU players do dumb things like field kickoffs that are clearly going to go our of bounds and instead field the ball and step out of bounds at the 10. They are incomptent against USC like they are every year.

And yet ASU never trailed in the first half until under 10 seconds to go.
Sometimes the more talented team doesn't cover.
