I think TCU will win the game.  However, as you've stated, ".. the reason the Boise defense is so highly ranked is because of their offense being able to get points on the board and build a big lead..", I think BSU at the half may be a good bet.

i keep hearing that Boise will be disappointed about not being in a BCS game... they have known for at least 2 months now that they wouldn't get into a BCS game... wouldn't they have come to terms with that by now?  and the Nevada game was a complete ass-kicking... Nevada only made the score look close because of 2 garbage time TDs and 2 onside kicks... and i would have to disagree that TCU can shut down Boise's running game... Boise is very balanced on offense, and very balanced in their running game... but yes, this is the best defense they have faced all season...

ocean808.. i'm not one to look at half bets, except when the spread is very high.. in a tight spread like this, i would stick with who i'm taking for the game.. just my opinion..

ice4blood.. Boise didn't know if they were gonna be in a BCS until Utah's last game against BYU, not to mention they had to run the table to even get a chance if Utah lost..

jwheels86.. hawaii is 3-1 in the Hawaii Bowl straight up and are underdogs in this one.. Notre Dame hasn't beaten a team with a winning record, lost to Syracuse at home, and struggled against San Diego State.. they haven't won a bowl since '94 either.. Hawaii has finally found consistancy at the QB position after changing starters through the 1st half  of the season.. Alexander is learning the offense and the place will be rockin as well.. i'll be in attendance also

can't win 'em all, man... you feeling really confident in that UH pick?  i don't know what to do with that one... should probably stay away altogether... i try to only bet the games i really can break down and get a good feel for, but as of now don't have any good angles on it...

Gong Ass is a punk...if he did post that before the game was over he need to be bitch slapped...We should have won with TCU the refs gave them that game...Da numbers show it all and wouldnt think it was a 1 point win...Whoever capped boise should have lost bs pass inter. by the refs...UH plays their ass off tomorrrow (seniors)

God i get tired of "we shoulda won we capped it right" posts... you didn't cap it right... Boise was up 10 early and was only not covering for about 2 minutes in the 4th quarter... taking the points was the right play in this game, pure and simple... just move on!

Merry x-mass. Just have'n some fun. Was very confident about Boise. Could not believe how many people overated TCU. Feel the same about Hawai'i. ND is doomed. Bitch slapped?  Been there. But you should have seen the other guy. Not pretty.

HA!  look... those guys are good... but even THEY cap games wrong... afterall, didn't Manifesto's thread have the consensus of his top cappers at 5-1?  which means that at least one top capper was on the other side... so did that "top capper" cap it wrong?

sorry man... Boise is a game team... they don't lay down, and getting 3.5 was the better play...

tough loss yesterday.. TCU was covering in the fourth.. i expected Boise to go for the TD instead of the FG, but didn't work out that way.. oh well..

1st off, congrats to all the Boise backers.. nice call guys..

ice4blood.. i am confident about Hawaii.. like i posted above, Notre Dame hasn't won a game against a team with a winning record and hasn't won a bowl game since '93 i believe.. Hawaii also has one one of the best homefield advantages in the nation, and they are 3-1 in Hawaii Bowls..
