Good luck 'bu....seems alot of people are on Arizona tonight...I see alot of Hawaii posters that have BYU,,,,hmmmm...I played 'em too....I'm a little concerned about the fact that many are expecting Nortre Dame to get buried...what's your thoughts...I played the Irish....I just think they really need a win to finish this season...Hawaii's offensive line is atrocious...

TCU is the first pick so far we've been against each other... identical up to this point... like Boise a lot... don't know if i'll be doing anything with Hawaii but i think i'll be on the Packers too...

xtragr8t.. its good to be bak.. haha, i was kinda bummed that i couldn't play the ending of the season, but other things were i priority.. Hawaii hardly gets points at home so i'm all over that.. they almost beat the Big East Champs Cincy..
shatso.. thanks.. good luck to you as well
gongshow.. may i ask why you disagree with my TCU pick?
ocean808.. again, its good to be back.. good luck..
briantabitha.. good luck bro..
ice4blood.. like i asked gongshow, why boise?
mr. insight.. glad to be on TCU with you.. as 4 hawaii/notre dame, i can't bet on notre dame in bowl games.. until they win or cover, i'll stick with bet against them..

since i asked two people to state their cases on why boise in the boise/tcu game, i figure i'll state my reason for TCU:
TCU -3 vs Boise State:
Boise State comes into the game with an offense ranking 13th in the nation in total yards and a defense ranked 15th in total defense and 3rd in points allowed per game.. TCU comes into the game with the 28th offense in the nation, number 1 rush defense, 2nd in the nation in points allowed per game and 2 in the nation in total defense.. this seemes to be a pretty even matchup until you look deeper into the stats.. the reason the Boise defense is so highly ranked is because of their offense being able to get points on the board and build a big lead.. this turns the opposing team into a one dimensional team, which makes it easier for their defense to stop.. if you look at teams that kept the score close with Boise (Nevada and Oregon), both teams had a chance to win at the end of the game.. i think that TCU's defense should be able to keep things close and that Boise's weaker defense will be more likely to give up a game changing play.. TCU has a very balanced offense which should be able to keep the Boise defense guessing..
Major Trends:
Horned Frogs are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games in December.
Horned Frogs are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 Bowl games.

to answer your question... Boise has a lot more to play for... better coaching... a more explosive offense... and an intangible Big Game factor...
if you break down their performance this year, a lot of people are seeing a weak schedule... i look at what they've done against that schedule...
consider that Boise just destroyed Fresno 61-10 or some such... Fresno and Col St played a dogfight game (i'd say that game played 10 times ends up 5/5... and mind you, i had a small play on CSU)... meanwhile, Col St played TCU to a 13-7 game, or something like that...
Boise is playing to become the first team in the BCS era to go undefeated twice... i have had a pretty good gauge on this team over the past few years, and particularly this year... they play big games the way big games are supposed to be played... their offense is extremely well-balanced, and very tough to stop... i think this game will be higher-scoring than what people expect, and Boise will dictate the tempo...
should be a great game, but getting a FG is just too much value to pass up on the team that should be a small favorite, in my opinion...
so that's why Boise...
not one of my bigger plays, but i do feel pretty certain that the masses are on the wrong side of this one...

ice4blood.. if anything, i think boise would be a bit bummed to say the least about not playing in a BCS game.. while they won't say it directly, its gotta be in the minds of some of the players.. while csu did play TCU close, nevada also played boise close as well.. i don't think boise is ready for TCU's speed.. TCU will without a shadow of a doubt be the best defense they've played all year.. i think we can all agree on that.. TCU should be able to shut down the run and make a freshman quarterback beat them with his arm.. while Moore is a good quarterback, i think they'll be able to pressure him into some mistakes.. good luck though, sir..
thanks for the support greenbottles and 4qt
