So Many exciting Matchups and Coaching Chess Matches....
No Need to Wreck it with PLayoffs...Just a Bad Idea

Why should Auburn and Oregon have to play anyone else??? but each other ...???
With the Current system every regular season Game is a Playoff Game ...

I agree 100%!! I love the bowl season. I remember back in the day we just got a poll to decide and everyone cried and cried and cried about just giving us a plus 1 and everything would be perfect. Now its wah wah wah. I'm perfectly content the way it is. I LOVE the bowl season.

Bowl Games are Fantastic
Love "All" the Matchups
Usually some of the Best games come from the weaker "paper" Matchups
Real easy for Younger People who have NOT been Following College Football for Long to CRY about a Playoff.....
Would be like if I started Following Nascar next year, and Complained about the Rules....
BEST OF HEALTH, HAPPINESS,WEALTH, BLESSINGS and LUCK TO ALL !!

But what I would like to see is a little more logic in the scheduling of non-conference games. If done a certain way, it could be used as a pseudo-playoff.

Yeah ...agree
some Scheduling restrictions or tweaks would be a Good Idea...
Don't Mind 1 or 2 games vs SBC,MAC.CUSA,and FCS Schools so they Can Build their Programs ... but all 3 or 4 Out of Conference games is JUst Silly
also Some Schools should be forced to leave the South East every now and then ....

Instead of watching Penn St and Florida on New Years Day we could watch Boise St vs Auburn in one Quarterfinal
Not saying that the Florida and Penn St game is intriging to me.... but your playoff example is a poor one to say the least....
If you were actually serious about a college playoff I would hope that you would know that Boise doesnt deserve the right to play Auburn or Oregon.....MAYBE if they went undefeated...but they didn't

Playoffs only help teams that lose a game in the regular season or do not schedule strong enough. I see no reason to help these kinds of teams.
If a team wants to play for the BCS Championship, then they need to win all their games and schedule tough non-conference games especially on the road.

I see your point Double and I like Bowl Games, but man I guess I'm just old school. Let's decide it on the field. 1 Loss and your out most times?? Injury, Sickness, etc.... Heck if the BCS was in charge of Basketball easily the Top 2 teams last year were Kansas and Kentucky. They didn't even make the Final 4 and Kansas was knocked out early,,, NO they have the novel idea of deciding the champion on the floor (Just like every other sport or every other level of FB)

I agree the system got the right national championship game this year, although some TCU fans might disagree. What happens if TCU blows out Wisconsin?? (Doubt that will happen ) We will have 2 undefeated teams left. Flip a coin?
BTW, I would love to see an SEC team have to come play in the snow. It takes a different kind of football to win in those conditions. All the big bowl games are in places with warm weather.

Well said DtotheP, I would LOVE to see an SEC school come play a Big10 school in late November....too bad it won't happen, but maybe they can start a conference 'challenge' like they did in hoops with the ACC....
Not sold on a playoff, as some years it seems needed more than others, but I would like to see them take the top 4 and add 1 game maybe using all the current BCS bowls...seems to be an idea that makes the most people happy without completely upsetting the apple cart.
