For the third straight year, Central Michigan’s season will end at Ford Field in Detroit at the Motor City Bowl. The Chippewas defeated Middle Tennessee State 31-14 in 2006 and lost a 51-48 thriller to Purdue last year.With the selection, the Chippewas earned a special play in conference history, becoming just the fourth MAC team to be selected to play in a bowl game for the third consecutive year.
A strong fanbase was a big selling point. I couldn't agree with you more. I rarely take side with USC games this year except for totals . I was surprise that they are only giving up 9.5 pts to Penn St. I feel like they are not going to allow more than 14 pts in this game. Their Defense is really fast to the ball. Penn St will have a hard time on Offense .I am taKing USC and the Under here .. Prediction USC 27 -10 Penn St.

i love Georgia, of course! the line is actually higher than i had projected, but the mismatches are so heavy in favor of Georgia... UGA has struggled in the SEC, but facing a one-dimensional Mich St offense should be easy pickins for them, and they shouldn't have any trouble scoring points against the Spartans D... only concern is the way a few teams have been able to run the ball against UGA, but i don't see how they can't shut down that running game and force MSU to throw the ball... which would spell disaster...
outside of possibly GT, Georgia is my favorite bet...
regarding a 16-team playoff format... it can't work... it has to be 8-team or nothing... reason is, all of the "detractors" for a playoff system use this argument: the regular season is the playoffs, and if you make a playoff system the importance of each game is lost... well... that argument is complete bullshit in an 8-team format, because you still cannot afford a single slip up if you want to make sure you are in the top 8... but in a 16-team format, teams like Florida and USC can pretty much sleepwalk through the season and they will still always be in the playoffs...
has to be a balance so you can make the idiot playoff-haters happy, otherwise we will not get a playoff... and the argument that "8 teams means #9 gets left out" is also bullshit... as it stands, #9 is nowhere near the NC game... so they have no reason to bitch... if they can't get into the top 8 they have no argument that they deserve a shot...

Both teams in this matchup are playing good Football... Rutgers has 6 in a row after starting 1-5.... Please Look at Teel's stats in those Games ...The Scarlet Knights have some excellent WR's ...Im not saying I would Pound Rutgers ..but they are for sure a Good team .... NC St will give them a good game IMO...
I agree USC offense has struggled at times and the D is why USC is so Good... I think Penn St's D will alos be up to the task in the Rose Bowl ... I see a low scoring 20-13 type game .. You Never know with Carrol??? Maybe this game is a Blowout and USC scores 40 by themselves... I Like the Under , but it seems Everyone does... .
