TEXAS LONGHORNS  -23
 
this arkansas team is awful... they could have easily lost both games at home to western illinois and louisiana monroe and were lucky to escape with 2  4th quarter comebacks.  so in reality this is like laying 23 with texas at home to a middle of the road subelt team.  texas  might be covering this at the half.  texas 48  arkansas 16
 
CONNECTICUT  HUSKIES   -12.5 
 
virginia is a god awful football team this year, especially on offense and i will be surprised if they find the end zone in this one.  uconn has a very good defense and should completely shut down virginia and wouldnt be surprised if uconn gets some defensive points.  virginia has not  traveled well either going 6-13 ats their last 19 road games.  uconn 27  virginia 6
 
TULANE  GREEN WAVE  +14  have to wait for this line
 
this is not that bad a tulane team and they should have a lot of confidence after the way they played at bama.  their defense played great last week  holding bama to a 172 yards.  13 of bamas 20 points came on special teams.  tulane outgained bama 318 to 172.  east carolina is not a high enough scoring team to lay this many on the road imo and this could be a nice let down spot, they better come to play.   east carolina 27  tulane 20

I was JUST looking at Tulane, and noted they've really been playing well for the better part of the past 10 games.  I watched the Bama game, and the Wave looked good.  It is, of course, a GREAT spot to catch ECU.  My only fears are 1) that Tulane really doesn't get much of a home field bump (but you have to pay for it anyway, spread-wise), and 2) there's a chance ECU is really something special.  I'd rather be catching 23 in Greenville, than 14 in hte Dome.
 
I think your UVa prediction is virtually the same as mine.  23-6, 31-7, something like that.

maine.. i think ecu is very good.. but i also think wvu is not as good as everyone thinks...  but regardless that was no doubt an impressive win last week.  even if bama was in let down mode last week that was still an impressive showing by tulane and i know that the talk around the program before this year is to make a bowl game so im going to give em a shot.. tulane may be better at the qb spot this year also, something they werent good at last year , gl this week

We are both fading the razorbacks again this week.  Paid off last week and I think it will again this week.  Like I said in another thread:

 

I am a huge SEC fan and I watch as many SEC games as I can.  And after watching Arkansas’s game last week, I honestly believe this Arkansas team, if they do not drastically improve, has a shot at being one of the worst teams the SEC has had in years.

i dont understand why ucla is getting pounded.  this smells like a blowout to me.  what a horrible time for u.c.l.a to have a bye last week coming off that big home win against tenny.  now back to reality, this team isnt very good and now has to go on the road and match one of the best offense's around in bye. kind of a poor showing last week for b.y.u but the bottom line is locker is capable of keeping his team in most games.   cant see ucla keeping up in this one.  ucla has a great run d but that wont matter here.  ucla has dominated this series, time for  a change.   b.y.u  37   ucla 17

Badlands, I think a lot of people will be on Arkansas with the thinking of “an SEC team that went to a New Year’s Day bowl last year is getting 23 points?  Sign me up.”

 

That being said, I think there is a good chance the line will start to go down.  What say you?

it looks like the action is about even to start shooter... i dont see it moving  to any key numbers like 21 or 24.....   but then again im the same person who took uconn at 12.5 and 2 seconds later it dropped to 11.5

I like most of the plays this week.  Still not convinced I can lay point with Mack Brown three weeks in a row.  Arky did look bad both weeks.
 
Not so convinced about the Tulane play, as I see it more as a fade of ECU than being convicned Tulane isnt really bad.  The Tulane/Bama game came to no suprise to me because I was expecting that sort of execution from Bama.  Saban wasnt going to let this Bama team win by 40.  I dont know how to explain it, but that was a very typical Saban team like performance against Tulane and I dont think it had much to do with Tulane.

would lean baylor out of principle..  wash st laying road chalk..    depending on the total the under in the michigan and notre dame game,holy offensive shitfest, and i kind of like rice at 8. gl this week

Badlands- I cant agree more with Texas Arkansas would struggle to be 3rd best team in the sunbelt this year

still thinking about selling off Arkansas after looking further at it this afternoon, probably made a mistake on that one
 
that UCLA/BYU does smell like a trap inviting people to take Bruins when UCLA primed for a letdown after Tenn

Badlands, I'm totally with you on UConn, Tulane, and BYU.  These are PERFECT spots for taking these teams.  The Tulane and BYU games are setting themselves up as public slaughters.
