UHQB- I hear what you're saying but I think in this particular situation their road trip is advantageous for them. Oregon State university isnt very good and Wisky knows that they almost had a meltdown last week at home. Montee Ball has already said in an interview that he WILL play better this week and that this game was a learning experience for them. A better learning experience for them then winning by 40 which I agree. Going up against a subpar OSU Pac 12 team will give them the perfect opportunity to open a can of whoop ass as Ball has a field day. I just locked in Wisky at 8 but I respect your opinion

No I disagree with Wisky. They don't play well in the beginning of the season. Look at all the problems they have with UNLV when they travel there. UNLV blows every year but Wisky is just a bad road team. No play for me.
when are you referencing here?
the time they shut the lights off when Wisconsin was up 27-7 as 7 point faves?

Good luck with Penn State and your "Just for fun" ML parlay. There is a HUGE difference between this Penn State team and teams of the past. Penn State has ALWAYS had an above average defense if not very good defense for Big 10 standards plus at least 1 or 2 game breakers on offense. This year they have a terrible defense and nobody on offense worth anything. Ohio just went into Happy Valley and put up 500 yards passing and running all over them. This was an absolutely huge game for them and Obrien called the loss devastating. What do you think the players are thinking? Now they go on the road to face an above average Virginia team that will totally shut down that anemic rushing attack and its not like they can pass. Going on the road doesnt help your team it hurts it A LOT in college football. I doubt Virginia is taking pity on Penn State. They will stick them as hard as they can I promise you. I dont see Penn State defense turning it around in a week especially after watching Ohio slice and dice them.

you're back again this year for more negativity and never posting any picks?
i agree that Penn state is vastly different from years past, and i saw a team on Defense that couldnt get off the field on 3rd down and surrendered plenty of yardage.
however, i am not completely sold on the Wahoo's this year, and feel that if penn state makes improvements from week 1 to week 2, they have a punchers chance in a low scoring game late.
BOL to you handicapper33...hope you post some picks this year.

JDNMONEY, nice thread, however I'm with Handicapper33, I like the train of thought on Penn St. I've seen how alot of people are thinking an overreaction, but I was wondering if I was missing something.
I'm not touching it either. But I am leaning Virginia.
GL to all, and "Lets get that money"

Not sure how you think a team that just got sliced and diced by OHIO not OHIO State running and passing ALL OVER THEM is going to be able to IMPROVE on the road. Teams play worse on the road not better in college football. I would rather take Oregon in the first half after watching them and the best player in college football the "Black Mamba" put up 50 in 14 minutes against a very average Fresno team. I also think I will take the over 59 in the USC/Syracuse game as Syracuse defense will get shredded and since Syracuse passes the ball all over the place I expect at least 3 interceptions which lead to points quickly. This will be a long game since both teams throw the ball a ton and since USC is on the road they will come in extremely focused. There is a couple of plays for you. You stick with Penn State and cross your fingers that they magically improve who knows stranger things have happened.

Also I live in Vegas and know my shit. I live 2 blocks from the Palms and have been gambling for over 15 years and college football teasers are sucker bets. Everyone know that or at least they should. The only teaser that is even worth considering is in the NFL where lines are extremely sharp. I stay away from the NFL and only spot bet because NFL in itself is a sucker bet.
