boom,
before this year, the last time i watched a whole college football game was during my freshman year in waco (20 years ago).  this year, because of the nba lockout, the success of the baylor bears and houston texans, i started watching football. i'm heading up to waco on saturday for the UT game.  my buddy forwarded me this link a couple of months ago and i've learned quite a bit about the game from you. It's been fun. i hope you stay on board.  thanks.

I have quietly become a Baylor fan here over the last two years. I love what Art is doing there at Baylor...and not to mention RG3. He may be one of my all time favorite players.

I dont know...Maybe its just my seeing this secondary get torched by teams that throw the ball, how can i take the Sooners this weekend? I would have thought they should have figured this thing out by now. Maybe Venables time has worn out. Hell? id almost take Mike Stoops back altho i dont think thats going to happen. I said that OU would beat OSU all year so im going to have to stick by it. Maybe the sooners still have SOME magic still in them.

Im not betting a side but im taking the over..i see its around 74...i dont think either D stops the other...52-48....something like that..

Any thoughts or leans??

Not running the same plays?  I've heard that Dabo might be interfering with Morris's offense.  A big problem the last two games was the absence of LT Phil Price.  The team generally and the OL in particular are still pretty soft, but when Price is in the game the OL at least plays with a little more of an edge.  The last two losses were all about the the terrible OL play.  (The defense wasn't very good, either, but the defense wasn't very good in the 8-0 start.)  They're getting nothing from LG McClain, but Dabo won't let Morris/Caldwell demote him because he's from Alabama. 

Meanwhile, Steele's scheme is too complicated, or the players aren't smart enough to pick it up, and Steele has no clue how to stop the zone read or any kind of option.  The S&C program is also not getting it done.

If Price can play, and Dabo lets Morris run the offense, Clemson may have a shot.  Don't let the ridiculous ranking fool you; Virginia Tech is a much weaker opponent than USC.  But I'm not optimistic.  I do have Clemson to win the ACC at +1750, however, and of course I will be pulling for the Tigers.

Another thing that changed during the season (besides Price's health and Dabo allegedly interfering with the offense) is that the team's leadership council went to Dabo and asked for less physical practices, and Dabo granted the request.  That's probably one reason for the terrible tackling, although that has been a problem all year.

Why?  Because less than 5% of you actually win at this game.  Anyone who tracks his plays and accurately counts win / losses is man enough for me.  

I don't track juice either...go and do your homework on my thread...I'm plus 150 units this year...at 50/unit...so call it 75 units.  I don't give a fuck.

You all are such fucking pussies about juice...it's a math nightmare; if you are winning, juice doesn't fucking matter all that much.  I consider part of playing the game, I don't even pay attention to tracking it.

this is easily one of the dumbest posts i've ever read...the juice is the bet. if you're really making these bets, you should probably know whether you lost 3k or 4,300...how are you paying off your losses??

a math nightmare!?!? some dude just posted all of it in a matter of minutes and they weren't even his bets. it's very easy to know exactly how much you won or lost by counting your money...

whats up boom, as you can see i dont post at all or post my plays so take this for what its worth cause some of the people if your forum think you have to post plays to be educated about sports and betting which is ridiculous...but i just wanted to say with the season being almost over been following your threads all season, sometimes playing your plays sometimes against em...and i dont follow cause i love to hate you or anything like that lol...but i follow because i think guys like you and train know your shit about college football..and i dont care if your up 40 units down 40 units whatever, i can always appreciate someone that can get into good convo about sports and college football...and on a last note i keep waiting for a week where your forum is purely sport talk...guess were not gonna get it tho hahaha....good luck in your bowl challenge, i dont have close to as much post to enter, but good luck and ill be following on my own comparing it to the pool...and train you do college bball as well correct?

Good luck man.  The only play of yours where I am just not sure is that over on the Houston game.  UH has a great offense, no doubt, but there defense is much better than people give them credit for this season.  I have already locked in UH covering as I see this one being something like 42-24.  With that said, since I am not playing the total, hopefully the Coogs get into the 50's.
