    i did not say his total earnings were about 0, just much closer to 0 than the 4k claimed. this is the problem when u lie and falsify records...there's no way to actually know without going back and figuring out exactly what happened.

    this week he said he went 5-6 and lost 3 units, which we all can know is a lie without any effort whatsoever. of his 6 losses, 5 were 2 units, and 1 was 3...so thats -5*2.2 and -1*3.3 aka -14.3 while his 5 wins were 2 units each for +10...so -4.3 instead of 3. close, but no cigar.

    this isn't a big deal, it barely even needs to be discussed, but boom is very solid with college football, is an interesting read, yet his forum is completely cluttered with people spouting bullshit. that can be fixed by avoiding things like not paying the juice every time you lose (and the fact that he puts he lost 3 units when if he bet with a bookie he would have lost approximately 4.3 probably makes people question how he doesn't know this already).

    i like boom and like his contributions to the forum and hope he continues to produce winners and cashes big this season and each that follow. i wish him nothing but luck. train, as the official supplier of handicapper fellatio, you are not overly useful.

    this guy is right
    person person's earnings is prob half of what he claims.
    i will go through his past posts and i will do some math and see

    So I can only see his recent posts from week 7 and on, but this is what i got
    assume most plays 2 units and -110 juice

    before week 7
    Sides  32 - 11    + 43
    Totals 15 - 15   - .5
    Overall  47 - 26    + 42.5    ( 64.3% )

    week 7
    win 6 = +12
    lose 9 = -19.8
    net = -7.8
    overall + 34.7
    (forgot to adjust overall units in week 8 report)

    week 8
    win 6 = +12
    lose 9 = -19.8
    net = -7.8
    overall +26.9

    week 9 (efro calls him out of not counting juice)
    win 9 = +18
    lose 4 = -12.6 (one 5 unit lose)
    net = +5.4
    overall +32.3

    week 10
    win 6 = +14 (two 3 units)
    lose 5 = -11
    net= +3
    overall +35.3

    week 11
    win 5 = +10
    lose 9 = -20.9 (one 3 unit)
    net = -10.9
    overall + 24.4

    week 12
    win 9 = +19 (one 3 unit)
    lose 3 = -6.6
    net = +12.4
    overall +36.8

    week 13
    5 wins = +10
    lose 6 = -14.3
    net= -4.3
    overall +32.5

    Before week 7 reported +42.5
    Week 14 he reported 42.5
    But was actually around +32.5

    So he actually lost about $1000 instead of staying even. Big difference juice makes does it?

    So I would guess his earnings this year to be around +20units from what he posts, which is good. But please guy, do some more honest reporting

    there's no reason for a witch hunt...i mean anyone who knows anything about betting knows the truth without having to go back and do the math. the past doesn't matter, the actual amount of units he's up doesn't matter...the forum is about talking sports and his threads always turn into shit shows. i'm not trying to call him out, just pointing out one of the reasons why he gets so many haters. also, having people like train who nobody respects as the chief "defender" trying to come to your rescue doesn't do him any favors.

    there's no reason for a witch hunt...i mean anyone who knows anything about betting knows the truth without having to go back and do the math. the past doesn't matter, the actual amount of units he's up doesn't matter...the forum is about talking sports and his threads always turn into shit shows. i'm not trying to call him out, just pointing out one of the reasons why he gets so many haters. also, having people like train who nobody respects as the chief "defender" trying to come to your rescue doesn't do him any favors.

    Boom,

    I enjoy reading your thread each week,

    I've been playing for about 2 months and have been following up since.

    Lets get back on talking football instead of picking at someone who we all tune into for a reason.....

    Keep up the good work man!

    Leaning on Wiscon/VTech/USC monster tease +13.... looking for another.

    I like some others in the thread think almost all the favorites will cover.

    Looking for some picks with some reasoning!  Thanks

    Love your threads Boom!  Glad you are finally done throwing your money away on Clemson.  They had a great start, but yea, I agree, they are done.  They just gave up. BOL to them next year.

    Hard to take anyone seriously that doesnt even take time to get an avatar or post picks. You dont respect me? Thats fine. All I do is win and all you do is bitch in other peoples threads and then tell them you like them and wanna be friend......

    I mean, who has the time to post to worry about what someone on the internet that they dont know is doing? Seriously, I want to know.

    Ive been here long before you and will be here long after you son....

    Douche or hater. Your call. I think you are both.

    Efro : you pay juice on wins not losses . If Boom bet 2 units per game doing the math he would be up 27+ units .

    Wow.

    It's amazing. No matter what, you guys are always out to try lie and cause problems on here.

    I may be the most transparent poster in the college football forum. Why? Cause I have to be. I'm also one of the most honest individuals you will ever meet.

    I post I'm this forum to help other people. I enjoy talking and learning things from alot of people in here as well.

    I have posted in this forum for 4 seasons now and most anyone can tell you that I'm as easy to get a long with as anyone you will ever meet. I also win at a high level and have been doing so for many years. My track record can prove that.

    But it seems to me that if it's not one thing around here its another. I have decided this may be my last season posting here on covers. I'm going to do my challenge and bowl challenge so dont worry. But as for the weekly chats, picks, Ten things we learned and analysis.... I think covers is starting to grow a little sour with me.

    But things in here have changed

    BOOM BOOM - PLEASE PLEASE READ THIS POST!!!  (I know I haven't posted 500 times, but I am not a "wierdo" - and probably am among leaders in posts read).

    * Your posts are GREAT!  Clearly, you have a lot of insights in college football - and you are PASSIONATE about the sport (which is awesome).  Your passion gets you excited about your teams (Clemson, etc) and teams you bet on every week.  That's great.

    * Great success will ALWAYS bring HATERS/DOUBTERS.  People hate A. Rodgers, Kobe, Obama, Cuban, etc, etc.  But, the RIGHT way to approach the "hate" is IGNORE it.  This is true for several reasons:

    (a) It's the "right" thing to do
    (b) It's less stressful for you.  Just ignore posts that are GARBAGE.  Act like they aren't there.  Don't reply.  By replying, you are "fueling the fire".  If you simply IGNORE, the bulk of posts/responses can be about football (is Clemson's young team hit a wall, will WISKY have revenge this weekend, does LSU care about covering this weekend b/c they are "IN" regardless for BCS game, does that mean GEO in 2H might be a good bet, why is WV only a pick-em in the Thurs night game, is Houston gonna try to put points en masse this weekend, is the TT on OKS a lean b/c they need to score a LOT to jump Bama, etc, etc, etc).  Instead YOU are "fueling the fire" with "IDIOTS, JUMP OFF A BRIDGE, etc"
    (d) You said you want to be a college football analyst (a la Lee Corso).  Why not?  You know NCAAF as well or better than him.  You have MORE passion than him, you are younger (so probably more energy), etc, etc.  Let's say by chance the opportunity comes to you at some point.  Do you really want threads where you say "JUMP off a BRIDGE" "Go die scum" etc.

    ***In this world of everything saved, etc - why not take the "high road" and ignore all dumb comments - it saves you TIME, it saves you ENERGY, it saves you STRESS, it allows forum to discuss football (which you LOVE to do), and it isn't a possible "black mark" on a future on TV doing football games (dream big!!!).

    * I DEFINITELY WANT YOU TO STAY - the fact your posts have 10000+ views means a lot of people like your stuff.

    * The Vegas books have imposters on here on every good capper - as they EXACTLY want these guys to leave.  Trust me, they don't want guys on your picks.

    * PLEASE PLEASE think about it buddy.  You are doing a great service - the haters (losers and Vegas books) are fighting you, don't fight them, ignore them, and keep doing what you are doing.  Kobe, Obama, Cuban, Rodgers - think of them - have you ever heard Rodgers say trash about Favre even as Favre tries to dog him, he just lets his plays do the talking.  And you should let your "plays" do the talking to.  (Ha, I came up with a joke at the end - pun on words - I'm not even that good with vocab, so kudos to me).

    Sad to hear that. You cant let people you dont know on an internet forum effect you that much. Hell, efro doesnt know anything about sports, life or women, but this is a free country so he can post. Crazy huh.

    You will be back next year. Hell, you have to be back. You gotta get that 4th place challenge taste out of your mouth.

    Don't be silly. There are no 10 year rebuilds in college football these days, and there are hardly any 5 year rebuilds. I bet you were saying that about Alabama in 2007.

    I cant see where unless weather plays a role here that it dont go into the 80's. The total that is... People want to buck Houston for whatever reason is unknown to me... but there a good football team. Look, I have said it a million times.... They have Case Keenum and other teams dont. In todays game a guy like Keenum is the difference.

    I appreciate all the kind words... Hopefully one day I will stumble into a job like that.

    The money and the whole gambling thing is really secondary to me. dont get me wrong... I like winning. Im a competitive person who likes to win. Money is a great. But not everything   Money doesn't mean everything to me.... I have a wonderful family and love the game we speak of....and those are the things that matter to me.

    I can make or win all the money in the world I want... I have. I pretty successful financially.  But none of it matters if your not either happy or passionate about the things that make you happy...
