had to share this with you... kept hearing from this Carolina fan about this year's game over and over. i mentioned 65-40-4 to him, saying the gameclucks would have to win 25 years in a row to reach our win total over them. So he says, "all you Clemson fans do is live in the past. live in the present. we beat you for the third time in a row". So i tell him he can have his baseball and badminton championships. I'll take a football one any day of the week. And it's kind of like banging the prom queen. it's something you will brag to your buddies about today, despite it being 30 years ago.

I want to say this, I don't post much but I do read each week to try to get some insight on games. I started reading this forum a couple of years ago and I didn't know anyone, so I just had to read a lot of different peoples threads and try to decide for myself who was knowledgable and who was spouting bullshit. After a few months, patterns started to develop and I slowly began to trust some peoples opinions more than others.

So after two years now reading this forum there are two peoples posts that I make a point to read each week and I trust their opinions the most too. I don't always follow their advice I always consider their opinions before making my own bets.

Those two posters are BOOM-BOOM and TRAIN69.

Boom lets get those hokies this weekend!! If i was forced to put money down on the game I would obviously go VT -6.5 but there's no telling. Our team could show back up any game now. I have a feeling we might be pleasantly surprised tonight though. I had that feeling against SC but just cant see this season going to waste like that. I say we either show up and win or we get beat by 14-21. This year, when we have shown up we bring in the W and if we don't, we get stomped. So for those of you thinking Clemson responds this game, which I hope, I would take a stab at Clemson moneyline. If you like VT, I wouldn't worry about teasing or doing moneyline. Just take the -6.5.
