Covers should have what almost all Forums have - an Ignore feature!

I've requested it, but I'm afraid they'll never do it because their revenue model is based on number of posts.

Good luck this week Boom.

I lost twice in Tar Heels' game, by betting them -3 at halftime. Still, enjoyed the under a lot in the "Big" game.

Talking about the 10th point. The lone negative comment comes from a person who joined in October 2011. While reading the thread, I realized many of us have several years here on Covers.

Those haters only are looking for a fight, and they are not just haters, they are, like Boom called them seeded in successfull threads and at the smallest sign of fight, they will go crying t mods, looking either the thread to be moved or the Poster to go to the Penalty box.

Pleas just ignore them, usually, when they succeed, they bet banned too, that explains why this kind of behavior always come from persons with a very recent joining date (same persons, different screen names)

What a JOKE!!  Cant wait till November 26th when Dumbo brings this joke to Columbia for his 3rd beatdown in a row!!  Most overrated tam in the top 25...really!!  Not using injuries as an excuse, but jeez!! Lattimore, Nunn, Holloman, Auguste.  Clemson's defense blows, Clemson's run game blows...Good Luck

Guys about the Texas Tech play........

I think its the best  play on the board. Why? Lets be honest here. Oklahoma S.T has been hanging by a thread for a while now. I think there a really good team but with any good team comes a target. Oklahoma S.T has a target on them now like they have never had before. Don't be surprised if Texas tech pulls another shocker this weekend.

I have been very complimentary of South Carolina all off season and most of this season. But I know a bad football team when I see one.

Okie St almost ALWAYS shits the bed when they play at Tech..I think they have lost 7 of the last 8 in Lubbock

Dont know if i can put my $$ on Tech but would not surprise me to see Tech somehow pull this one off

Challenge for you:

I would like to see you diversify a little bit and look at the team totals BOOM. I think it might benefit you by making you scrutinize individual teams a bit more....Just a thought.

As a SC fan I don't disagree with ur assessment of our defense's number being over inflated because of a lack of offensive teams on our schedule.
Just like Clemson you play the teams on your schedule and their is nothing that SC or any other college FB teams players can do about the lack of offensive and or defensive teams on said schedule.

I am not sure if you have had a chance to see any of Florida's games as of late but its not like their offense is hitting on all cylinders. Also their offensive line has looked every bit as hideous as our oline. Plus SC is playing at home. 
Now as most Clemson fans I am sure you found matchups that clearly favor Clemson in their matchup with SC.

I would never argue the obvious.
What I will tell you is its not like Maryland is this great read option team and they managed 45 against your less than stellar defense.
I think the game comes down to two obvious things turnover margin and time of possession.
If SC can not run the time out with ball control and chewing the clock with zone read then Clemson will win and maybe by more than 10 but, I am not sold after watching your defense this year or the past three years that you can stop a zone read team consistently to make any Clemson fan feel overly confident about this game.
I am not asking for you to say SC will win the game but what kills me as a SC fan is the lack of respect that all Clemson fans have for their opposition regardless of who you play.
I don't understand this mentality.
Just to be clear I am not being disrespectful nor calling you out personally.
I am not even saying that I am sure that SC will win the game against Clemson.
What I am sure of barring any key injuries and or significant turnovers on one side or the other,
It will be a close game.

 Im not dis respecting S.C. I think you guys have plenty of talent on that team right now. But you and I both know who your worst enemy is  Spurrier.

Spurrier has to go. The guy is dragging you guys down. As a Clemson fan i say keep him. you guys need to cut ties with him.

Billy every fan base shows lack of respect to there opponents and mostly there rivals. you guys are much the same....in my BIAS opinion, I think you guys are much worse in that category than us. But like I said.... thats my Bias Opinion

Is the game going to be a 4 quarter game this year??? of course it is.  Do i think we will win? of course I do.

But seriously... I think this team has too many weapons for you guys to defend right now. The question is...who can guard Sammy? I dont think there is a corner in the country can.

Big issue I have with Spurrier is the lack of talent at offensive line.
Also they seem to never know what they want to do at critical points in tight games.
I think he and his coaching staff has done a phenomenal job of improving our over talent on this team. I also see the lack of direction on this offense, Plus as mentioned before the lack of any real talent and or depth at O line.
I don't think that any corner can stop SW2 either at this point.
As for the lack of respect for your opponents.
I honestly couldn't disagree with you more,
I am sure you know the history of SC football.
So we as fans rarely have a leg to stand on. The Gamecock Will's of the world are in the minority. 
On the other hand all I have heard during this amazing run that Clemson has been on since the Auburn game is predictions of 56 -17.
And the sheer lack of respect for what your opponents are doing.
This has nothing to do with SC V Clemson. It is Clemson's fan base predicting these outrageous scores.
I think Clemson will beat WF this weekend by 10-14 points. I do not see many scenarios were Clemson wins 52-14 or something of that yoke.
As for the game I do believe we have a shot but also believe that Clemson deserves to be a slight favorite in the game.
If SC doesn't try to control the clock with zone read,
 Then I don't think that SC has a chance.
As for what you are seeing with SC's FB team. 
Realistically outside of lets say 7 to 10 teams 
their are not allot of teams without allot of issues and maybe SC is not a great team, But given what other teams around the South East and the Country look like this deep into the season I do think SC deserves a top 15 ranking because there is allot of bad FBS teams out there.
Just for the record I do think Spurrier is stepping down at the end of the year and look forward to seeing him retire.

BTW I know the best way to stop SW2 put him on SC's roster. We will not have time to throw him the ball regardless of how wide open he is.

So I am talking shit by pointing out certain aspects of our team that I think we could take advantage of on another team that is on our schedule?

Just curious I think you could have won by 25 probably also but does that mean that we are a hideous team or could it possibly be just a bad matchup for SC.

Also do u believe that Bama is 24 points better than Ark or is it possible that u had a bad day or it was a terrible matchup for the Hoggs?

i just recently joined covers a month or so back, but in that time i have noticed that you are the most read college football thread pretty much every week....if people didnt respect your opinions (grudgingly or otherwise) then they wouldnt check ur thread more than all the rest....i hope u keep up the work b/c it is a good barometer for myself when im trying to get a better read on a game im leaning on.  Sports are like politics and religion in that everyone thinks they are an expert and so few have a clue at all...thanks for ur efforts
