White Mice, check out what the LSU defense was able to do against Johnny Football this year in comparison to other top defenses. While no doubt Boyd is an exciting playmaker, I trust that Chavis will have an effective gameplan for his phenomenally talented defense to execute. And say what you want about Les Miles, but, to me at least, he is light years better than Dabo Sweeney in all aspects of coaching..

But like every conference, they have their own distinct style, which isn't always a guarantee to match-up with other styles of other Conferences. That's why the SMUs cover vs the Fresno's, the Gophers cover vs. the TTech's, and the Nevada's cover against the Zona's
I respect your opinions but these comparisons are unwarranted. And to say that this LSU team is any different is inaccurate, great defense and mediocre to piss poor offense, same old story. Wing was a non factor all season, no drop off there. Mentioning the drop off in turnover margin from one season to the next to make a prediction in a bowl game is odd to me.
Boyd had 26 yards on 17 attempts against USCe, I expect much of the same here.

LETS GET IT ON !!!!!! for the record Im gonna take Lsu I think clemson having no D and lsu having no punter ...mixed with les miles SACK ....biggest in college football ..being forced to go for it more than not ....I'll take it

You are SO RIGHT! SOME people just don't get it. Their idea of capping is watching Lee Corso, putting on their 2011 Auburn Nat'l Champ sweatshirt, getting a 12-pack, and going to the shooting range to compare notes. Dude 2 years ago the lowly ACC watched NCar beat Tenn outright, FSU dump SCar, and CFU (power conference!) beat Georgia. So other than the fact that they're SEC, post a link to your thread telling me why I should not like Clemson other than the fact they're SEC. And by the way, what was your ID last week? No I am not. I am saying any team can beat any team. As I just posted, SEC got beaten outright 2 yrs ago by 2 ACC teams and Central Florida beat Dawgs. Shrimp367-i am the last guy that bets with his heart. I have none when it comes to betting. But when I get over-inflated lines in SEC games just cuz Vegas knows that everyone knows SEC is gonna get backed, I'm going to go against them. And why post stats...you'll see just what you're seeing here. Whiners saying they don't count cuz they're not SEC teams. ACC sucks. Everyone sucks but SEC. PedPiper--I won't compare Dabo Sweeney with Les Miles, but will admit Les is known to pull a few blunders. And check his record at the window as a 6 pt fav. And I won't compare Clemson D with your D. But I will compare Taj Boyd and his offense with yours. I am not offended with who you bet, it is your money. I am sure you are the kind that will tell me after the game how wrong I am, just as I am sure if I am right, I won't see you again. gl with your SEC teams
