BA,   Interesting 30/30 coming soon.  Anyone who follows Hi-School FB should enjoy this.  I know this story fairly well but expect much more inside info now that a couple of decades have passed.

  * figure he comes off bench vs H Baptist......finishes game ON the FIELD.....as he needs the reps.....instead of on the BENCH....as he might have before (if starter)

reading with great AMUSEMENT........the INFESTATION of this forum by Big 10 homers.......that UNIMAN.....who's bending over backwards / forwards / sideways.....to show he's NOT a homer....notwithstanding............

As I mentioned before.....when explaining why I liked Florida....
  * looks like to me that B10 stereotype (fade vs fast / athletic teams)..is rearing it's ugly.....but profitable head once again

I KNOW....it's gonna make many people REALLY angry....

BE CAREFUL.......these teams look really tough playing each other......watch out when they step outta conference play

NC ST......ON PAPER....looks a helluva lot better than S Carolina.....a BAD team last year.......no way in HELL you could pay me to take NC St here..........also no way I would take SC either......................

BECAUSE.....according to CFB genius Steele......he's a PRO prospect !!!!....................

You mean.....why in TF would they want a guy who wasn't very good at freakin' TULANE?...I reckon they feel they can develop him into something better than what they have right now (young guys maybe not ready yet)......which kinda tells you something......

Gun to my head?...... pleasing to the ear of a few here no doubt............I would say struggle to move the ball again.....D is a bit better......they go 6-6 or so........

Ba ... I pay attention to the weather perhaps more than most ... maybe too much... looking at entire sheet for first 8 days , I find only one match up between a northern team traveling to a southern hot , humid site ... Maryland at Texas... kinda like Texas anyway , what do do you think "Big picture" about Texas covering ... especially 2nd half or live late first 1st 1/2... thinking maybe Maryland runs out of gas in those conditions ? Thx for your thoughts.

IMO.....that's the ONLY way you play Texas......
  *helluva lotta PRESSURE on the Horns......(many).....expect a contender.....POOF !.....immediately....so no shocker at all.....if the Terps jump out EARLY...........can they SUSTAIN a lead / compete for 4 quarters?............in the HEAT..................doubtful

That LIVE play.....is REALLY underrated IMO.....as well
  * like Texas here.....don't like the 17?.....plus MAYBE it's cloudy /80ish that day......simply WAIT.....maybe Maryland scores 1st.....line drops to 12-13 or so....hit it or wait.....maybe Horns go 3 and out.....Maryland scores again......line drops to <10..............


Each week I make a list.....of teams I feel are gonna win (might start slow)......or a team than can really run .....has a physical edge > take charge 2H........or a team with a good QB > backdoor opportunity.....esp vs a team that (might) take it easy 2H 


Gonna win...........USF.....Texas....Mich St.....LSU....N Dame....Okie St.....Georgia........teams like USC / Penn St/ Aub sure 

Ability to RUN.....get back in the game 2H?.....Bama.....Navy....Oreg St (vs CSU)....Iowa?..........Vandy....

Fav take it easy 2H ......and / or backdoor potential.......Troy.....Wyoming....Ark St......FAU?.....Rutgers???....NMexSt?....UCLA?

looking at that Fla / Mich game......at this point a toss-up sure
  *BUT....personally....I would be VERY surprised to see Michigan win this one......think about it......the guy loses what 20 or so guys to the NFL (11 + FA).....from a tough but overrated (< no doubt) team.........an amazing job if he beats Florida here

I like Ore St too as long as Nall stays healthy...

So many people take message board comments personally, as if the team they root for is their family.  This is a gambling forum not a homer's forum...people should like the team that will win them money this week and not throw a hissy fit if that isn't the team they have tattooed on their arm.
