During my senior season in 1970, I rushed for 1,131 yards and scored a then school-record 14 touchdowns.[1] I finished my career with 2,659 rushing yards,[1] which broke Gale Sayers's career rushing record for the school[3] (now ranked fifth for Kansas' all-time rushing leaders and 14th for total yards).[5]

ok know who you are know i was there from 88-91 so i have a question for you do you think gil is the answer i personally do not i think if you want to compete in that conference you have to be in the top three in recruiting and he is not also gammett plays in that conference does not work blue collar smash mouth does

Oh ya...ugly.  I knew we were soft on defense, but that was ridiculous.  There will be opportunity to be had with Baylor and Okie St in the next two weeks...both of which can exploit the soft middle of the Wildcats.

one of the most biased homer picks I've seen in awhile.  You use KU's key win against Gtech as a con because you assume that Gtech was overlooking them.  Good info even thought it was all biased towards KSU.  haha gl though.

put it this take the money out of it if you had your choice and had the opportunity to play tonight on the grand stage which team would you want to play for kansas with a program in trouble a new coach and a new offense or ks with a coach that gets respect a well disciplened d fense good special teams and still has a shot a very long shot of playing in the big 12 championship. Kansas and gil are just trying to get to 5 hunderd and save that job for another year until something better comes a long he knows he is cleaning up some one elses mess have you ever heard that old saying start looking for yor next job the day you start the one you have know. Gil at buffalo was a joke he took a team that could not play stinke with two hands full of shit and got them to sub par 500 and landed a job with a program that probably will take 10 years to rebuild if that.

I don't know many WELL DISCIPLINED DEFENSES that give up 250 yards on the ground per game.  They statisically ranked near the bottom.  That is attrocious!  They were bad before the NE game and looked even worst then.  I have already played KU +7.5 in a parlay but might put more at half if I think the game is going the way I anticipate it.  We will see.  All the same BOL to all I am looking forward to this game.

I guess all rushing yards are equal ?????   Look at the teams KSU has played....  All of them are good running teams... and guess what !!!!!!!!!!  This just in.... A LOT OF people are going to get run on by Nebraska....  Do you think KU could hang with UCF, UCLA, ISU ??? I don't think anybody who has seen those teams play would think so....  save your money while you still can....

jesron your money BOL though if you base your wagers on stats oh well 5 busted plays for over 365 yards total = 250 a game it is like golf just because some ones average 310 off the tee does not mean they hit it 310 kansas has struggled in every aspect this year and will continue tonight look forward to your post after the game or even better in game ku by 3 scores

hey atl fader good job there kansas could not run on a high school team turner gil will not stick to a game plan and will look for trick plays to pull it out of his ass i am a former kansa player and back the j hawks but this want even be close - 3 is a gift

Absolutely I agree.  However, every team they have played has run on K-State.  That then goes from an annomoly to a trend.  I hear ya though I just think that KU will run on K-State and NE showed the blueprint on how to stop the K-State stud back.  Now I don't think they have the personale to stop him but they will slow him down.  BOL to you too!

Not much because I don't think either team tries to pass the ball much. I think both will try to run the ball most of the time.  Of course, that effects K-State more than KU.  We will see in a short bit.

It doesn't help.  Harper will need to step up...if he's in the line up regularly...I understand he hasn't practiced so well, so his play has been limited (which is too bad because he's a bomb). There are other options, but suffice to stay if KSU is missing Smith that much tonight, it means they're behind and throwing the ball more than desired.
