Just heard Cam Newton willl be suspended for the Bama game and may be done for year.

My friend who I go thru on at SideActionSports was told that if state and federal regulators investigate it this week which some say are already doing so since so many reports are coming out that Auburn will have no choice to suspend him for the Bama game and if any of its true he is done for the year. The NCAA is taking this much more seriously since Reggie Bush made them look stupid when he was gettting benefits straight out in the open. Cecil Newton is not helping his son much by all the garbage he is talking and Cam sounds like he did it but just wants people to leave him alone. If I were Auburn you have to know this is a Reggie Bush scenario all over again and even if Cam somehow does not get suspended  he will before the SEC champ game or the bowl game and whats worse is once its all said in done this entire season will be wiped off the books just like Reggie Bush. I challenge ANY SINGLE AUBURN backer to say that he is innocent. Right now there is overwhelming evidence he is guilty. He needs to forget about football and think about the NFL because his college career is OVER. Sucks because he was good way better than Bush.

He is innocent.  If he wasn't then he his head coach would not have said tonight that Cam is elgible to play Saturday.  So far all we have is that the school that did not get his signature has made allegations.  They made those allegations for the first time in Jan.  Nothing has happened since then to change Cam's elgibility.  Why do you think his status will change between the UGA and Alabama games? 

Yo Handi until I hear a tape conversation or some video or a letter its all hearsay, and last time I checked you cant get convicted on hear say, so there is no way he will be suspended on hearsay.  Plain and simple.  So unless someone comes out with some sold evidence, not only is he playing, he is gonna win the Heisman!

For what it's worth my book just posted BCS Championship odds for the top 3 teams currently in BCS standings.  I imagine this is not news to you guys as they are probably posted everywhere but the Auburn number seems strange.  Odds are if the team will finish in Top 2 and play in BCS championship game:

AU has won those games w/Cam's running ability all of which will be minimized in the NFL. The strength, speed, raw power, agility of the defense will put him on the IR if he tries that stuff. He just will not be able to last. So good qb at this level - yes good qb at next level - i seriouslly doubt it. But there are rumors Cam's dad and Al Davis are discussing that matter as we speak.

First off Bush is one of the BIGGEST BUSTS IN NFL HISTORY. This guy doesnt even play a position. He is no running back. He is not a receiver. He gets hurts ALL THE TIME. He has spent more time on Injured Reserve than on the field. He was the number 2 pick  and if he wasnt playing for New Orleans he really would be a GIGANTIC BUST; luckily New Orleans lets him play slot because he sure as heck cant run thru the tackle and is no firm WR. Bush, altho title relinquished, was the unequivical best college player in 2005, and Newton, the same for 2010...Lamichael james beats his girlfriend and isnt as fundamentally crucial to his team as Newton, which is the essence of the Heisman trophy. dont be biased. just watch the games and look at the body of work.

Reggie Bush is CONSTANTLY HURT; QB in the NFL take years to be good; look at Vince Young and how good he is now; and I hate Young; every qb needs time but not EVERY QB has they PHYSICAL ABILITY that Cam Newton has. Also I dont like Newton either but would you rather draft Tim BUST Tebow or Cam Newton in the first round. Tebow will NEVER EVER EVER be a start qb because he doesnt have the tools Newton has.
