Probably not a bad strategy.  I think LSU will handle Whisky pretty easily, so I'm not really opposed to any LSU bet - 1st half, 2nd half, game.

I LOVE Army!!!  I'm on them 1st half and game.  I think they have a decent shot to win the game outright.

Yes, I play a full unit on parlays most of the time.  Once in a great while I'll swing for the fences and do one for 3 or even 5 units!

I will also note that Temple opened up as a 21.5-point favorite, and the line is currently sitting at 14.5 at most shops.  That's a massive 7-point swing in favor of Army.  Obviously some touts have jumped on Army, which likely accounts for the precipitous drop in the line in the last 48 hours.  None of this really matters to me, however, as I rarely allow line movements (or lack of line movements) to affect my plays, but some may find this insightful.

If I tease, which almost never in college football, I prefer to teaser underdogs.  But I think if you can tease Colorado to below a FG, then I think it's a good play.

Look at Baylor.  They are laying fiddy!!! 

Way too many question marks for both teams, so I did not handicap the game.  I would have leaned K-State @ +17.  Apparently someone else agrees with my K-State lean because the line has now dropped below two TDs.

However, if you're tortured about a side in week 1, just bet the 1st half UNDER I always say. 

I really don't, but I lean Toledo +4.  I do kind of find it odd that the game opened at 4, and has never budged.

It's not a game I've kept a close eye on, so I'll take your word for it, but it does look like it opened at 4 - not that it really matters one iota.
