5 & 3 so far on bowl games.  My plays today are:

Northern Illinois vs. Boise State UNDER 27.5 (1st Half)

Northern Illinois +8

Georgia Southern +7

Georgia Southern ML +245

 

  Big line moves on both games.  I'm seeing Georgia Southern +5.5 and NIU @ +7 right now.  I still like both at those numbers.  I like Georgia Southern to win straight up, so obviously I feel good about getting points.  I like NIU @ +7 or better.

 

Mine is down to NIU +4, Georgia Southern +3

Wow my mistake didn't realize I clicked 1st Half LOL I was wtf is going on with this line?!

I'm leery of NIU at anything less than +7.

Jimmy mad respect throughout the years with your picks. I like the Georgia Southern pick myself. Better defense and I don't see Bowling Green being able to stop the Georgia Southern running game. Not to mention not sure how much motivation Bowling Green has to win this game with no coach and just winning the MAC Championship. Yes Georgia Southern are replacing their coach as well but I believe their kids will be more motivated to get this win close to home to cap off a successful year with their first bowl win.  

San Diego State vs. Cincinnati UNDER 28 (1st Half)

With two backup QBs starting in this matchup, I'll take a shot at the 1st half UNDER

Middle Tennessee State vs. Western Michigan OVER 65

 

With the line dropping to 2.5, I will make a small play on the team that I believe has the better defense in the contest.

San Diego State -2.5 vs. Cincinnati

Marshall is certainly the more talented and athletic team.  UConn, who only has one win versus a team with a winning record, will do their best to hog time of possession and minimize Marshall possessions.  I think Marshall does win the game, but I can't lay 5 points in what looks to be a low-scoring slugfest.

If you want to bet Marshall here, parlay them on the moneyline with the 1st half UNDER (if your bookie will allow it), or Washington State -2.5.

 

10 & 5 on bowls so far.  Mixed in a couple of horrendous plays in there, so I feel like I have done very well to this point.

Here's what I'm on tomorrow so far:

Connecticut vs. Marshall UNDER 21.5 (1st Half)

Connecticut Team Total UNDER 19.5

Miami vs. Washington State -2.5

Indiana -2.5 (Hook) vs. Duke

May add one or two more, so stay tuned.

I'm going to throw two more plays out there.  I really like this Tulsa/Virginia Tech 1st half UNDER.  31.5 just seems like a crazy high number to me.

I also feel pretty confident that Southern Miss and Washington can get OVER the number.  I know some of you won't like this, but I'm going to buy a whole point here, and play OVER 51.5.

I also like Washington to win this game by double digits, but haven't pulled the trigger on -8.5 yet.  If I do, I'll post it.
