I hate to even post this, but the officiating in the Indiana/Duke game is flagrantly one-sided in favor of Duke. Completely absurd!!! Anyone watching this crap??? Blatant pass interference not called, then 2 flagrant personal fouls committed by Duke on the interception, and they call them on Indiana???
Hard to say whether the field goal was good or not. It was real close. I thought it went just inside the post, but I can't say for sure. Regardless, the refs missed no opportunity to make calls against Indiana in that 4th quarter.
The kick looked like is was going to easily be good. I almost started celebrating, then it hooked right just a bit which made it close. I certainly couldn't tell anything definitive from the television. The last angle they showed it looked like it was good to me. The first angle I couldn't really tell.
8 & 2 on posted plays today taking my overall bowl record to 18 & 7.
The Indiana game really hurt me though as it cost me the third leg of a 3-team parlay. Sometimes, as in this case, you handicap a game correctly, but still come up short. Indiana was the right side, as they clearly outplayed Duke netting 10 more 1st downs, 389-163 advantage in passing yards, 150-yard advantage in total yards. The kickoff return for a touchdown and questionable officiating cost me this cover.
As far as the other loss is concerned, not much to say. Just a terrible play on the Tulsa/Virginia Tech UNDER.
Nevertheless, a very good and profitable day overall. Let's keep it rolling on Monday when bowl action resumes.
