Thank you captain obvious.  Even though they don't go for 2 because it doesn't matter whether you're up 4,5,6.  There is no difference in 4 or 5 because a TD beats you.  There is a huge difference between 4 and 6 because even if you give up a TD, there is a CHANCE to block the FG and tie the game.

of course there are people with theri own agenda--coaches,players.reffs.owners,mobsters,casinos, etc---- in all levels-- greedy basterds...of course, not all games are fixed, but some might be every week on every sport

retards.  You go for two there so that you make the extra point relevant.  What is the advantage of being up 4 or 5?  None.  Being up 6 at least makes the other team make the extra point to beat you.  Many games have ended or gone to OT because of mixed extra points.  No fix

I dont know why people had a tough time figuring this ^ out  They made it 6 so just incase Vatech scores they atleast had a shot at blocking the extra point (chances are very slim but it happens) Why is it so hard for peopel to figure that out is beyond me

Boys , i HAD the under-  the problem here is yes THE LEAGUE IS FIXED. Yes he knew the total  and NO it does not matter  weather your up  5 0r 6 .  VT STILL WINS WITH A TOUCHDOWN. However, heres a note for all , this line opened at 50.5 for me , went down to 48.5 and i got it at 49.5 . So boys there was a middle - , D.A.

And yes no matter what - the correct play was KICK THE FIELD GOAL

Seriously, some folks here don't see that the 2 point conversion was the correct way to go..up six...a TD DOES NOT win the game, only ties it...still gotta kick the xp...

If you believe its fixed then stop betting.  Give me one good reason not to go for 2 in this spot.  You make them make the extra point if they some how get a TD.  Its as simple as that.

I'm gonna give anybody who believes in this post a little advice.  Stop betting football immediately, you literally know nothing about the game of football and would be better off playing the lottery with your gambling bankroll

Yup. The two WAS needed. Not only would they need the TD but the actual WIN is on the kicker. Smart move. Regardless on how goo they are, kick made in heavy pressure situations is much more of a toss up than regulation.

I don't know whether you are stupid or retarded and I'm not here to judge.  To answer your concern in the simplest way.  Kick a field goal you up by 5.  Play 2 pts conversion make you up by 6.  FYI, a FG by another team is only 3 pts.  So in short, a TD by VT will win regardless.

Fixed games does not deter gamblers from betting.  IT's all about being on the right side of the fixes.  Does McDonald deter a fat kid from eating those BigMacs?

Why does Oregon go for two on their first touch down? Why don't everybody go for two on every touchdown? The answer is simple, money is at stake. have you seen a team down by 14 and kick a fiels goal just to cover a spread with less than a minute left. A TD would win the game only if the conversion failed. That's why U GO FOR IT! It makes ur win rely on the kicker of the opposing team with all kinds of possibilities to have a miss (block/block return/straight miss). the reason why people think its fixed is due to losing bets. i can see a few points being shaved here and there but if games are fixed there is WAY to many people involved and this would of have be exposed years ago. No way they could hide this if whole teams and coaches are on the fix. no way in hell. when you lose your mind makes ya think that lol
